You’re still struggling aren’t you. You are comparing Putin & Russians to Netyanau & “Jews”. Not Israelis, but Jews. If The Nigerian government started bombing South Africa and I wrote that I didn’t blame The Blacks, but their Government. What would you call me?

The fact that anybody thinks there can be impartiality is laughable and naive. It’s not a question of “here’s a Tory, here’s labours side”. Everything from running orders, guests, commissioning, scheduling is the subject to somebodies bias. Rod Liddle a man of the left & former BBC man spells it out. It’s over, gone. It’s unsustainable. The only debate is what replaces it.

So are you saying that The IHRA definition of anti-Semitism isn’t “grown up”, that the 20+ countries that accept & use this definition shouldn’t do so . They should just use the “Cambridge dictionary “ as that’s the grown up version. That’s a pretty ridiculous claim even for you. To help with your education & help you gain some understanding that your “hate or strong dislike of Jews” definition belongs in a year 6 lesson and not in a serious discussion. Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to: Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion. Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions. Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews. Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust). Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust. Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations. Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor. Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation. Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis. Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis. Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

Why does it need to be one of those options? Still charge a licence fee. If it’s a good as it’s supporters make out most people will still pay. The ones that don’t or don’t want to, can lose access the service, rather than be put in prison. You could even have voluntarily top ups, so you good people who think it’s brilliant could pay a bit extra to ensure it remains so.

According to the IHRA, which is an international body whose definition of anti semitism is accepted by 34 members countries & 7 other countries, Soggy has been posting anti semitic thoughts. Despite it being pointed out to him on countless occasions, he continues to do so. Is he either an idiot who can’t comprehend or understand, or is an anti semite. To clarify, the accepted definition of it includes the following; “Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel” It’s not a one off, it happens over and over. It’s been pointed out to him countless times. 😩

It’s on its last legs anyway. It’s not sustainable to charge a compulsory poll tax to watch TV in the second quarter of the 21st century. Eventually they’ll have to make it a subscription service & cut off people who don’t pay.
-
It’s people stuck in the last century.
-
No I don’t. I call people who criticise Jews anti semitic. Posts like your first one on this thread (even before the present escalation) are anti semitic. That’s not illogical or immature, it’s a fact.
-
I didn’t read anyone who claimed Palestinian’s had done it. Just people like you & Soggy blaming the Jewish state & believing Hamas’ claim.
-
Some of you made your minds up last night. I wonder why 🤔
-
Hamas, representing the Gaza population, doesn’t want Jews to exist. That’s the difference. If every Jew in Isreal moved to Egypt, Hamas would still murder them. If every Palestinian moved to Egypt, Israeli’s would get on with their lives. Palestinians live & work in Isreal, those that do are safe & are treated decently by 99.9% of the population. You can bet your life Jews wouldn’t be in “Palestine”.

Exactly. Im the type of person who waits to see what happened, to see who blew up the hospital & whether it was intentional or not. Now you on the other hand are a different type of person. You’re either extremely knowledgeable about this particular incident, & have more insight & intelligence in the war zone than the BBC, British Government or the US Government added together. Or you’re the type who will automatically blame The Jews & claim they did it deliberately.
-
The BBC said this morning it was “working hard” to verify what happened and who was to blame. They can’t be working that hard, as all they need to do is place a call to Romney Marsh, and they’d be fully updated.
-
You wrote that most of the problems would sorted if Isreal withdraw from the occupied areas. The fact they withdrew from Gaza 18 years ago shows that this is complete rubbish. Withdrawing from all occupied territories won’t stop people trying to murder Jews & wipe Isreal off the face of the earth. Millions have been poured into Gaza, and they spent those millions on hardware to murder Jews. They had the money to improve the infrastructure, they could have turned towards Egypt & lived in peace like the Egyptians do. They choose another route and that’s why we’re where we are. If the Israelis withdrew from West Bank, exactly the same thing would happen there eventually.

They left Gaza in Sept 2005.

He’s an anti semite & a racist who has had cartoons pulled by the Guardian before because of it. You’ve got to hate the Jews pretty badly to be sacked from The Guardian, but it’s no surprise you’re supporting him.

Yesterday was the last qualifying round of The FA Cup, reading between the lines, I don’t think the Dorking manager was particularly happy the effort his players made to reach the first round proper.
-
Why are you wasting so much time & effort posting on the Isreal thread. No amount of words on here will change situation in Gaza. Actually, why bothering posting at all, might as well close the site down as it won’t change anything.

Not in the last 2 seasons he fucking hasn’t

That’s what used to wind me up about Ralph. Giving it the old Klopp pony when we won and skulking down the tunnel when we lose. Lego is going down that route as well. That fucking wobbling your hands pony is fucking Noddy. Win lose or draw away from home come over & give a quick clap to the guys who have travelled, and at home fuck off down the tunnel until we’ve actually won something or it’s the last game.

Fucking hell, it’s Sunak & Starmers fault. Unbelievable. You’ve spent years banging on about Tommy Robinson, Farage & Katie Hopkins, going on about hate, about racism, but when given real examples of hate against a particular group going up at an unbelievable rate, when kids safety can’t be guaranteed, you blame the politicians and not the people with real hate running through their veins. For all you pious righteousness, you’ve proved it was never about the victims and all about you showing what a “good person” you are. Pathetic…

He said “choreographed after a win”, so I can’t really understand your moaning, you wouldn’t have to see it very much.
