  1. Press conference just in.
  2. Wokegate had a set of circumstances every other England manager would have given their right arm for. A semi final against an aging Croatia side & a final at home to an average Italian side. Then a World Cup in the middle of the season (not at the end of a long tiring one). With the players he’s got, the pin should have been pulled at the end of the last WC. I was wrong about Lego head getting us up, and I hope I’m wrong about this chump as well. But fuck me, we’ve got Walker, Kane, Jude, Foden who are top class. We’ve got Stones, Rice, Saka, Palmer, who are nearly that level, we’ve got decent youngsters coming through, even the keepers OK. Round pegs in round holes, front foot football, a bit of aggressive intent and without a Sunday school teacher managing us, we’d piss this competition.
  3. As a landlord Sir Kiers answer to Fiona Bruce last night, didn’t fill me with confidence that he understands the rental market or how you can legislate bad practise out of it. Personally, I set a price and if 4 or 5 people want the place, we decide on the basis of who will be the best tenants. However, clearly there are some landlords that will get involved in an auction. Evidently Sir Kier is going to stop this, but floundered when asked how. There’s only 3 ways to legislate lower rents. Rent controls, reduced demand or increased supply. It’s not as simple of saying “we’re going to stop this”. 3 times he was asked how, and 3 times he just waffled on.
  4. He still looks like a fucking prick in that white shirt. I played 11 a side until I was nearly 50, doesn’t make me PM material. Pound to a penny he calls it Footy as well.
  5. Which is exactly what Labour did with theirs. Looked at what they’d promised previously, and amended it. I didn’t “download” a previous version 😂, I’m not quite that sad, but Starmer is getting praised for changing Labour from previous versions.
  6. They’re “puzzled” as to why players that press every week at their clubs, don’t do so when playing for England. There’s no puzzle, it’s fucking tactical. Tactics decided by Wokegate.
  7. Fuck me, pundits my arse. Not one of them mentions Wokegate by name or critique him. It’s all woolly, don’t want to upset him. It’s down to him…
  8. Good lad, Nige in ale house. Fuck me, then there’s this melt watching the “footy”.
  9. What’s not to like? Excellent sensible approach.
  10. This is about the 4th time you tried this unoriginal joke, give it up man…

I thought I was on ignore? You’re full of shite….
  12. At least it’s only on this thread, not the climate one, Isreal and every other frigging discussion. Talk about shoe horning, you’ll be discussing him on the Baz one next, although to be fair he’d probably be as good as Baz in nets.
  13. Fuck me, you’re obsessed man. It’s not compulsory to mention Nigel in every post.

  15. What a load of old pony. Davey could have voted against budgets, refused to have his fat arse in a ministry limo or resigned the whip. He made the political choice to support austerity.
  16. By people like you.
  17. These are good, followed their advice and got off parking and speeding when they were called Pepipoo. https://www.ftla.uk/ind
  18. 😂 As if he’s got a choice. I haven’t ruled out banging Taylor Swift.
  19. Davey had his fat arse on the Gov benches.
  20. That’s a bit generous. They would have gone along with anything to get their feet under the cabinet table. Osborne & Cameron wouldn’t have gone much further even with a majority, they were closer to the Orange book Liberals than they were to the Tory membership. Personally, I supported that period of mild austerity, but if it was as wicked as some claim, the Lib Dems could have stopped it, but preferred the trappings of office. What’s worse, implementing a policy because you believe it to be right, or doing it because it’ll get you cabinet places.
  21. They didn’t have a majority, they needed Lib Dem’s to get anything done. You know them, the ones you’re “impressed “ with. What do you think about the impressive Ed Davey enabling austerity? That was a political choice as well.
  22. Yeah, the Toolmakers son has turned his back on his “friend” pretty quickly. Nearly as quickly as he backed tracked on his “pledges” that got him elected. Reading the last couple of pages you’d have thought Nigel was the only politician to ever promise their target audience exactly what they wanted. Increase income tax for the top 5% of earners Abolish Universal Credit The common ownership of rail, mail, energy and water; Will scrap punitive sanctions, two-child limit and benefits cap Finally, the abolition of tuition fees.
  23. It’ll be “vote Reform get labour” but as Rupert’s constituency is showing, that could back fire.
