Of course it was. Right up until the day Standard Bank said "We want our money back now please".

I think they're just putting a few more seats in. The stadium's already built. -
The adjustment is in the hinges. They normally have 2 screws. 1 fixes the hinge onto the cabinet, the other one adjusts the door position. The adjustment one is usually threaded all the way with a cross in the end. Using the top and botton hinge adjusting screws on the same door in opposite directions will tilt the door up or down when it is closed. Using them both in the same direction will move the door towards or away from the other one when they are closed. p.s. Are your wardrobes really bigger on the inside than outside?

I've bought 5 in the last 2 years. Best brands IMO are Toshiba & Lenovo. Lenovo's touchpad/joystick thingy is a bit of a nuisance, but otherwise very solid machines, but my favourite is Toshiba. But I don't choose a laptop as a desktop replacement, I go for portability (light weight) and battery life. I haven't bought a laptop with a CD/DVD drive for years. Makes them bulky, heavy and eats battery. I avoid HP like the plague.

To paraphrase the Coventry commentators on Saturday: "They've taken their first three goalscorers off. They've brought on a sub who scored another one. Now they bring on David Connolly" We do have a good bench.

Twxagco. That better? But better just to stick to Caltex.

I've got a 450D for the past couple of years. I'm not a photographer by any means, but it takes great pictures, and really easy to use for the layman. I've got 2 lenses, an 18-55 which I use nearly all the time, and a 75-300 which I use very occasionally. Neither are image-stabilised. Never have to use flash indoors (which I hate) but change the ISO instead (400 outdoors & 1600 indoors). Some shots in low light are blurrry with high ISO and no flash, but I use continuous shooting mode, and just discard the "shaky" ones. Most come our sharp. Shoot in RAW format and you can adjust the focus, lighting, shadows, etc. later before converting to JPEG. There are loads of other settings you can play with, but I haven't got a clue about them so just leave them alone. The memory card plugs straight into my laptop so no need to mess around with cables. Don't know the 600 but I guess it's an improved version of the older 450.

No problem, if you need any help on how not to fix any more problems, you know where to find me

I know. Disgraceful, innit? Don't you just hate it when flash new owners just come in and buy their way to relegation?

64 bit OS? There is no working version of flash for 64 bit IE9. You should have an option to run Internet Explorer 32 bit in the start up menu. Use this when you want to use flash, and all should be fine. Personally I find it quite useful, eliminating all the flash content to save bandwidth when connected via 3G, and switching over to 32 bit when connected via WiFi.

I thought the following write up in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph was a fair report of the game: For 75 minutes this was as big an anti-climax as David Haye’s last fight. Two goalscoring heavyweights in action, but one of them couldn’t land a blow. Posh, who had impressively kept a clean sheet for the opening 10 minutes to surpass their achievements of the previous three matches, were still 2-0 down after 16 minutes and a man down 20 minutes later. Not what you need against a Southampton team rampant at the top of the Championship and chasing an astonishing 19th home win in a row. That they tried to achieve it without breaking into a trot never mind a canter was hugely disappointing, but rather helpful as far as Posh were concerned. But after strolling arrogantly through a dreadful second half spectacle the Saints were stunned by an expert finish from Posh substitute Emile Sinclair following George Boyd’s fine through-ball with 15 minutes to go. It didn’t exactly provoke any frantic action towards jittery goalkeeper Kevin Davis’ goal, but it was a decent reward for a determined rearguard action. It was also funny to witness the switch from supreme cockiness to obvious concern among the home fans. Of course the late goal shouldn’t disguise what was in essence a very comfortable home win. The Saints are hardly a team in need of any help, but they received it anyway, both from some poor passing and terrible marking which led to the two early strikes and the latest individual masquerading as a competent referee. Gavin Ward was a top-ranked assistant referee in his day, a job he should return to judging by his foul detection skills in this game. There were no official complaints after three slick passes enabled Richard Chaplow to escape the Posh defence and open the scoring in the 12th minute. There should have been at least a stewards’ enquiry about the decision to award a foul on Guy Do Prado by Gaby Zakuani which led to Jos Hooiveld tapping in a second following a clever set-piece routine four minutes later. A mountain to climb then and two tackles, two fouls and two yellow cards for midfielder Lee Frecklington before the half hour mark meant Posh were never likely to leave base camp. That they escaped a drubbing was down as much to Saints opting to showboat and stroll as it was to any great defending, although Ryan Bennett was excellent throughout, Gaby Zakuani launched himself into some brilliant late blocks and goalkeeper Paul Jones made a couple of fine stops to thwart Rickie Lambert. But to be fair even with 11 men Posh were struggling to make any inroads. Manager Darren Ferguson appeased a large part of the Posh support by keeping Sinclair off the pitch for more than half the game, but fielding an extra midfielder (Ryan Tunnicliffe played deeper than Grant McCann) did not enable Posh to keep possession. Indeed the number of times Posh are pressed into conceding the ball in dangerous areas is becoming rather worrying. Lambert and Lallana both almost took advantage with further first-half goals. Posh re-grouped and were re-styled in the second half. They defended soundly, but were helped by the home desire to walk the ball into the net. Tommy Rowe fired just over from the edge of the penalty area and McCann forced Davis into a save from long range, but even after their goal Posh didn’t deliver another shot. Southampton did, but substitute Steve De Ridder fizzed a half-volley wide. It would have been a moment of quality out of context with a thoroughly disappointing, poorly refereed, match. A few sports editors could take note

Phil will like this one. I think it was Gary Player who said: "Golf is a game of luck. The harder I practice the luckier I get".

pffft. We're not even in the top 10

Hamble, although pedants might say otherwise. I'm sure I'm not the only one who got a ticket for parking on the road above there after dark without a parking light (remember them?)

The best bit about that is that, after 14 games last season, the Skates were in 10th place and they eventually finished the season 6 places lower in 16th. This season after 14 games they are 18th .... Keep it up
-
That's probably because I was a student there back in the day when you lot were still in the 6th form at that place in Eastleigh. At least I learned to spell before I left there

But let's not forget that 1 of our "3" is already ⅓ of the way through what will probably be his last season at this level. We need to start settling-in a replacement for DC sooner rather than later. Not saying Sharp is the one, though.

For some reason I remember a few pre-match sessions in there as well. Can't think why, it was nowhere near the Dell. I remember a particularly good session before the Spurs match in the promotion season. But that was The College of Technology. The Tech college was down at St.Mary's (the Church).
-
We need to remember that although our attack has maintained the high standard set at the start of the season, our defence has continually improved. We've conceded 2 goals in the last 5 games. Last season Posh didn't have to face up to Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld & Fox. And they did have CMS. It would take a pretty substantial lapse not to win this one.

This weekend I spent 2 hours on Saturday afternoon listening to Dulcet Dave's commentary with my SaintsPlayer subscription, rather than spending those same 2 hours out in the garden shredding the clippings so I could keep a couple of hours free on Sunday afternoon to post crap on the internet. But then I'm probably not a proper Saints fan.

How many points do you think we can get in November?
hutch replied to Saint Thomas's topic in The Saints
44 We get our Christmas bonus on the 17th this year -
30? He's made 17 already this season, & it's only October.

So we ended up with 12 points from a run of 7 pretty tough games. Incredible form really. I'd have settled for anything over 7. West Ham & Boro at home, and Derby, Cardiff, Burnley & Reading away. The next 7 look a lot easier on paper, time to get the bugs out of that away form before THAT game.
