Thay're also selling season tickets at a far faster rate than ever before, notwithstanding the generous two month selling period this year, compared with the far shorter four months in previous years. So get yours quick, before they sell out.

I'm sorry Whitey, but that's just poor. Well below your usual level. The pilots were flying the plane at the time, so it's their fault. That's tabloid stuff. Here are just a few snippets from the Final Report issued by the Irish Air Accident Investigation Unit. The short version, from the Contributory Causes section of the Summary, is: The State of the operator was Spain. If you're still not convinced, then the following extracts will help you: and and and The EU requirement for "free access to other Member States without further licencing or supervision" is typical of the dangerous arrogance that emanates from Brussels, or Strasbourg, or wherever it comes from.

As a licensed pilot I have some experience of the CAA and how much it loves rules and regulations. The referenced directive is REGULATION (EC) No 1008/2008 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 24 September 2008 on common rules for the operation of air services in the Community There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever in my mind that if oversight of those scheduled passenger flights between the UK and Ireland had been the responsibility of the UK CAA then that accident would not have happened. Those two pilots should not have been flying that plane on that day, and the fact that they were was down to loopholes in the administrative system created by EU beaurocrats.

10th February 2011 Manx flight from Belfast crashed at Cork Airport. Although flying a Manx flight, the aircraft was owned and operated by by a Spanish company. The final report laid significant blame at the door of the Spanish operator and crew. Under EU Regulation (EC) 1008/2008, the UK and Irish regulators were expressly prohibited from exercising any regulatory function in respect of the operation of aircraft from other Member States within and between their territories. All regulatory oversight was the direct responsibility of the Spanish, who were completely unaware where the aircraft was or what it was doing. The cost? 6 people died. frinstance

Conventionally, GDP is measured annually not daily. Personally, I'll be buying as many pounds as I can over the next week.

When it comes to genes, a skate family is similar in many ways to a Galapagos island.

Nah, don't worry. We'll get a Hodgson against Wales.

Southampton's academy team could play in the EFL Trophy next season

No I'm not, I'm just poking fun at the large number of skates that infest this board. But I do think it's a bad idea and hope it gets dropped. -
What? Even in spite of the extra special deal offered by British submarine builders with government "support" because it would bring work and prosperity to deprived areas in the UK? Shame on the British government, it should have upped the subsidy.

You're not considering the poor fans of clubs languishing down in the depth of the fourth division. What else do they have to look forward to in life? What else is there to cheer up their grim existence if you take away their one chance of a shot at glory? -
A quick example of why the remain camp's over-reliance on economic arguments appears to be failing. International trade and finance is extremely complicated and most people have trouble understanding it. Toyota is not a British company, it is owned in Japan. Therefore, if the pound does fall, then Toyota's costs in it's plant in the UK, when converted to it's "home" currency and compared with it's cost of production at it's various other plants around the world, will be reduced, making it's UK production more competitive. The remittance of sterling-derived profits from the UK operation to HO, which would at face value be worth less in Yen terms, is a different matter, and is routinely managed in very creative ways by most global corporations. Using the Derby plant as your example, the only time it would be a problem would be if sales were to fall, and there is no evidence that would happen. My own opinion (and it is only an opinion) is that IF we vote to leave, and IF there is a fall in the value of sterling then that fall would be relatively short-lived, and UK factories such as Toyota Derby will be relatively unaffected.

Is that the one where the comments are proposing that they scrap the parachute payments, because the clubs that receive them have an unfair advantage?

If any of our players want to move to another club before the end of their fixed term contract we can impose whatever we want. They would be free to accept or stay put. If we want to impose a nobody goes to Everton rule then nobody will go to Everton unless they're on a Bosman.
-
But I fully understand Everton's ambition to become a top six premier league club. I also fully understand why we don't need to share that ambition.

Why ex-Commonwealth? They are still members. The Commonwealth of Nations still thrives, spanning the globe comprising 53 member states.

Interesting that at this stage of the Scottish referendum when the pendulum started to swing against him, Cameron started throwing sweeteners at the Scots to get them on board. This time, if he wants to do the same, he will have to play a game of Ask Angela first.
