And the smear campaign on the BBC begins: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-36771205

Junker's worst nightmare. Terri agrees with Angie to go back to the voters with an improved reform package.
-
It's good to see powerhouses like Bournemouth being magnanimous towards the struggling clubs from the lower leagues.
-
That's the one. There's something in the back of my mind about season ticket sales coming to an end after this week. Maybe it's the end of the buy now pay later scheme. Anyway whatever it is, it looks like ticket sales down about 20%, and squad size still rising.

So, presumably the way the British media works, the fact that there are 141 undeclared means that they are all running with the headlines that any one of the five contenders could be in the lead, and they don't have a clue who is?
-
Nothing to worry about. McCluskey is going to sort it out.

Well you can't argue with a direct quote of something a person didn't actually say.

The Eric Black rumour was planted in here specially for people just like you.

Not for us he wasn't -
He could indeed. In Lalkovic's own words:
-
Good to see the annual team rebuild is galloping along: Fortunately, the budget is again unlimited, due to the world record season ticket sales.
-
But Junker's ordered them all not to talk to us.

Surely a business model that is built on the presumption of protectionism is flawed?
-
I think we might be a bit harsh here. I think the probably have got a worldwide fan.

Am I alone in hoping England lose in the hope that it will signal the end of Hodgson?
-
Unless we just happen to get lucky. Again.

Not another friggin' referendum. When is this one happening.

Only to a certain extent. The reason for the recent surge of the SNP isn't that the Scots suddenly thought they might fancy a bit of independence. It is because they were an alternative when Labour imploded. Similarly UKIP has benefitted in England. We desperately need a credible opposition. At the moment that job is being done by the Lords at Westminster.

Why? What is the incentive? At the very very best, if they won every hugely risky gamble on the way, they would get to line up behind Bosnia and Macedonia in the queue to join the EU? It isn't going to happen. It's just posturing. Sturgeon is not one of the influential players to watch over the next 12 months. But she'll continue to get a lot of airtime on the BBC.

In the meantime, outside in the real world, it's interesting that Merkel has taken the opposite stance from Junker. I think that significantly increases the odds of another vote, but with a different reform package attached.
-
An o.g. is a crap way to exit euro

I think you're missing something

And a whole lot of arse covering by petty EU officials still to come. The ones that thought it was funny to laugh up their sleeves watching the British Prime Minister begging for some crumbs of reform to offer us earlier this year. I spent an interesting hour this morning re-reading the reports from two years ago when Junker was appointed over Cameron's head. At that time Cameron warned all the EU leaders that if they went ahead with his appointment it would lead to the UK leaving the EU.

So that exposes the huge lie that Koeman handed in his resignation. And that Everton paid compensation for poaching him before the end of his contract. I've completely lost faith in the entire board for lying to us like that. When does poor Les's case for unfair dismissal come up at the tribunal?
