Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
hutch replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Surely any self respecting Christian would know which day Boxing Day falls on? So that just about rules out everybody that posts on here then. -
I think BTF is suggesting just that.
-
So how many seats do you win by having "a higher percentage of the overall vote"?
-
I agree. The only thing that actually gets counted at an election is the number of ballot papers.

I'm not sure what you mean by It's a hypothetical but not dissimilar scenario that I chose to illustrate an opinion given in answer to a previous question. And that opinion is that I don't agree with your previous loaded question and in my opinion shows you as an apologist blathering on about things that you know absolutely nothing about. -
Except there just was a bi-election and they got far fewer votes.

If a dozen Saints fans went on the rampage with guns and machetes at Palace and slaughtered some Palace fans, I would certainly distance myself from them. I suspect 99.99% (nice made-up random number that) of genuine Saints fans would too. -
But she could get a garnishee over any damages award he might get from his case then? And one of those twitter campaign things aimed at his lawyers demanding that they donate their fees to his family.
-
Genuine question, is there anything stopping Rigby's widow from sueing him for damages in a civil Court? Or is it only evil ex-husbands that get pursued to the ends of the earth for every penny they have for family maintenance.

You're right. But I'm not really sure what bearing the opinions of foreigners with an axe to grind should have on British parliament. Social networking is IS most powerful weapon. -

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the dictionary definitions where a petition is a document on a bit of paper and signing involves a pen. People liking an on-line campaign on their mobile phone isn't quite the same thing in my book. -

Except that it's not a petition and it hasn't got any signatures. But other than that... -
I was quoting the advice given to me by the SAPS 20 years ago the first time I called them out to report an attempted break in.
-
The old adage remains true in SA that if you do shoot somebody, make sure the body has a kitchen knife in it's hand before the police arrive.
-
There's no need for that. They do it so often they've got it down to a fine art.

Thousands of young British men and women (that's British, born and raised in Britain) are making their way to IS HQ in Syria to have the process of radicalisation refined and polished, and to be well trained in the covert use of weapons and explosives. There are still a few innocent Syrians left for them to practice on. Then they make there way back to Eastleigh, or Swindon, or Nottingham, or Swansea, or Bradford, or Greenock, or..... to wait for the call to go out and slaughter innocent British women and children. That's what parliament is beind asked to deal with now. Only an idiot would think that Parliament can, or should, vote on how to end the war in Syria or solve the problems of the Middle East. They will come, whether parliament votes or not. This is about risk management and damage limitation.

So about £12 a game then. How does that compare with other lower league clubs?
-
82,000 is less than 25% of Labour members.
-
Nothing to worry about. I've just read the comments on the news...

Riiiiiight

A quick glance at the performance of the first world's top 5 economies measured by GDP growth published by the World Bank shows that the UK has gone from bottom of the league in 2010 to top of the league now. So let's bring back Gordy out of retirement eh? You might not like Osborne, or his politics. I don't. But to say that he has mismanaged the economy is just rubbish. Either that or your memory is very very short.

Don't worry, JC, after that rousing performance yesterday, you're not on your own We all stand together.

We should lose more often. I miss Alpine's posts.

That's a nice bit of soggy logic there. We didn't openly object to your post on the thread therefore we must have agreed with it when you posted it? No wonder you two get on so well together. -
Both parts are put up on the YouTube channel, along with a separate interview with RK at Staplewood during training.
