They were both shellshocked. They believed their own hype that they just had an off day at St. Marys. Just like Arsenal. And Chelsea.

Just to compound your misery, here's some highlights from their game against United, last time they won the league. (hint: the skates are playing in grey)

Well that wasn't too shabby, was it?

So who's wife did you get?

Agreed, but not all muslims are Arabs. And not all Arabs are from oil-rich Gulf States. The point that was being made (I think) is that part of the root of this problem stems from oil rich ruling families in the Gulf not building schools, hospitals or other facilities in the Gulf region. That simply isn't true. There are plenty of schools, universities, hospitals, clinics and any thing else you can think of in the Gulf region. These terrorists come from Bradford. Or Hackney. Or Marseilles. Or Peshawar.

That's a bit of a generalisation, but I'll make an equally generalised comment. It's not really true. A significant portion of the wealth goes to the citizens. They get free everything you can think of. Including cash. You need to remember that only maybe 10% of the population are citizens. The other 90% aren't citizens and never will be.

That's not a fact. It's an opinion. From an organisation with an agenda to promote.

I read this in a Guardian article this morning: "Most of Southampton’s rivals remain in either the Champions League or Europa League." That's not something you read every day.

That's partly true, but it's not the whole story. Appeal is also possible on points of law, if the law was interpreted or applied in the wrong way. According to the CCRC "New legal argument is usually some significant new point of law that has not been made before, such as a complaint that the judge’s summing-up was faulty, or that the prosecution applied the law incorrectly." I would guess that's where Evans' lawyers are focussed.

To be fair to Ho, he's bang on as usual. We're just full of conspiracy theories here. Theory #1 Their overbloated squad is full of useless journeyman they can't get rid of Theory #2 They will sack their manager after six months, like the last one. And the one before that. And the one before that. And... Theory #3 They won't get promotion this season Theory #4 They won't get promotion last season Theory #5 They won't get promotion the season before that Theory #6 Their new "state of the art" training facility is just a couple of rented pitches and some tarted-up portacabins Theory #7 Their request to increase capacity at Fratton Park has been refused on safety grounds Theory #8 The Supporter's Trust owns a minority of the shares of the football club Theory #9 The Supporter's Trust representatives on the Board are a minority Theory #10 They can't file any Audited Financial Statements because of "discrepancies" So we should stop all this conspiracy theory nonsense, and recognise them for what they truly are.

One man's 17th is another man's 85th

They've come up with this great new idea to get rid of loads of their bloated squad members, and splash a bit of cash to bring in a small number of good quality players to propel them up the leagues. They call it quality over quantity. They have also evolved, from skates into goldfish.

Osvaldo always seems to have so much space to himself. Funny that.
-
Financially, none as far as I remember. McInnes has already announced that they've received their cash and it's been "ringfenced" They are, however, at the mercy of Robinson regarding who their new neighbour might be. I guess he won't be too particular as long as he gets his money back.

It's good to see the old black and white movies making a comeback

The 3,000 is neither fair nor logical. It is arbitrary. I'm not promoting change, but if you wanted to make it fair you should link is in some way to the number of fans that regularly attend matches.

And also tbf, if this legal approach is upheld under review, I think there will be quite a few that won't know they have raped someone even after the event. To be clear I don't include Evans in that, because I think what he did is wrong, but a more widespread approach of conviction even if the victim didn't actually say no would be a bit of a nightmare.

If we're going that far back, Norman Wisdom had me in stitches when I was a kid. For more recent females, Catherine Tate was very good for 15 minutes, until she ran out of material.

Apparently the deck is as big as two training pitches, so it's a bit of a no-brainer.

Barbara Windsor is 26 years older than everybody's husband. Carry on, Granny.

Halfway through page 3 and still no Benny?

I know it's hard to keep up, but I believe Holmes has only gone on a one month loan deal, so he'll be back at the beginning of February. That's not really freeing up space in the squad is it?

You could always try Fratton Park.
