Garmin is one of the world leaders in aviation navigation systems, has been pretty much since the advent of GPS's. They make full-blown glass cockpit systems for a range of current private jets. They're not a mickey mouse company like Tom Tom.

Portsmouth haven't posted (or filed) any financials since 2007

We might head down to Oubaai for a few days over Christmas. We could do a threesome

I'm sure it'll be on down in the Quays

My memory isn't what it used to be, but from what I recall they are renting facilities from Roko, including outdoor pitches and indoor facilities for the squad. This was signed up and the work done. This fan-funding malarkey is just to get 2 extra pitches for the academy to use, because there isn't room at the Roko facilities for the squad and the kids. They are definitely renting the facilities for the squad. I think they are also planning to rent for the academy, but maybe I haven't actually seen that confirmed anywhere.

So, according to Caitlin in the News, scope of work = 1x fence + some seeds Say £10,000 for a fence That leaves £240,000 for seeds. That will buy you around 70 tonnes of seed, enough for approximately 200 football pitches. Unless they're planning to plant the seeds first, then do the subsoil drainage, topsoil layers and irrigation later on. As usual, it doesn't add up. If there was a plan, Caitlin would know what it is. He's just making up soundbites for the press. My guess is they will spend around twenty grand on a couple of training pitches next year, and the rest of the cash will be turned into working capital without any equity. But if they do build new changing facilities, indoor pitch and gym, medical suite, classrooms and a media suite as well then I'll take it all back.

Yes, we've nearly got one

So let me get this clear. If you invest your money to paint the stands, replace the broken seats and replace the faulty wiring you get shares in the club. On the other hand if you invest your money to upgrade the training facilities you get a replica shirt or a mention on twitter. It's not hard to see how they raised so much money so quickly.

But I read it on here. The "owners" stumped up loads more "cash" and increased their "equity". Or did I miss something?

Yep, thats why he came to swf for advice

Those 250 extra shares will sure help keep up their ownership percentage as well.

I just did a 3am check out from my hotel. There were lots of ladies soliciting in the lobby.

Captain who? I'm sure it's just a coincidence it happens on the same day Osvaldo goes

I'm sure that's just what Foxy needed to know

Not really. Bence is on the "executive board" of the Football club. Hofstetter was a director of DMSWL613 Ltd. Bence is an accountant, Hofstetter is a lawyer.

Did I read that right. It is a replica shirt they're selling? Where did they get that from, Oxfam?
-
How about your audited financial statements, when you eventually get round to filing them, Mero? Or will they be reclassified to show a whopping antithesistical profit?
-
I think a fans forum would be a brilliant idea. There's no substitute for seeing the expression on the other bloke's face when he reads your tweet.

Sandwiches and cokes so the lawyers can work through lunch?

Apparently there is a condition. Payment must be in cash, in a plain brown envelope.
-
Wow. Signs. Real ones? Where are they then, apart from in your head?

and all based on a rumour that he might, or might not, have started to follow Saints on Twitter.

Putting people in the team because they're very good players is what England do.

So they lost their last 3 friendlies on the trot, including that powerhouse of league football, Ebbsfleet. But they did manage to beat Havant and Waterlooville a month ago. Their squad building has clearly been downgraded now they don't have parachutes to pay the wages. I wonder if they will hold their nerve when the league results go tits-up. And I remember the trumpeting last season about how far ahead of their debt repayment schedule they were due to the mahoosive increase in revenue, and that they will now pay off all the legacy debts by December. That's this December, 4 months away.
