I'm just thinking out loud here, but it seems to me that if you're precious about mildly lewd comments from members of the opposite sex, it's probably best not to get a job working for Hugh Heffner selling nude photographs of yourself to members of the opposite sex.

No, but their suppliers and ex-players do.

Methinks this thread hasn't quite turned out the way it was intended.

I was there as well, but it was 40 years ago when it was still Lanchester Poly. It's probably changed a bit since then.

Other clubs views on whats happening at saints?

Yep. If it's true it must make them feel really good watching their team every Saturday, knowing they've got a huge transfer kitty. In the bank. -
Coz' he's a scummah

I think that is very disrespectful. But it did make me laugh.

No it isn't. It really isn't. All you do is sit down and discuss it with your family and make a decision. Then, like a man, you go to the club and tell them face to face that either you're staying or your leaving. Unless, of course, you're not a man.

Don't be daft. They're all Brazillians. -
What about Dejan, what did he tell you when you asked him?

Where's that link to the "bring back Gabby" campaign gone?

Don't be ridiculous. This is a FIFA competition we're talking about, not some tin-pot association run by a bunch of ageing corrupt despots.

Can we dispel the myth that the club needs to sell season tickets. Only clubs with cash flow problems and shortage of working capital need to sell season tickets.

Spot on Bear. No friggin' ambition. Sack the board.

I think I was agreeing with you. I intended to anyway. This would not have been simply time- related extended prelims.
-
I would start off by ditching all of the contract rates and prices, including prelims, due to change in scope, and repricing the actual job from scratch. On that basis I would guess we've paid around 30% more than if we had retendered the job. But we would have had to pay the contractor to terminate his original contract, and saved about 6 months. My view, once we decided not to build the original project after signing the contract due to huge change in circumstances, we've probably come out of it OK So has the contractor. Most people love to knock builders, on the basis that you can always get a cheaper quote for everything. Try running a construction company.

They can't, at least not for now. The business lounge in use at the moment is appalling. Very overcrowded, about one third the size of the previous lounge, and below average facilities. My advice, go somewhere else for the time being. Ab Dab/Etihad is probably the best transit choice in the gulf for the time being.

They're shares in a company, just not in Pompey. You get a share in the Pompey Supporter's Trust, who promptly make a voluntary donation to the club with your never-to-be-seen-again cash.

But doesn't the offer close last April, but extended until next month? Have they ever honoured a single commitment? Just one? It's just lie after lie after lie.
-
Sounds about right. It was about 3 years ago and set me back about R7,000 at the time, about £600
-
But it was. 5 years. Premier League. Consolidated. After that we just made it up.

Are you sure that's the timing belt? I thought that was sort of inside the casing. That looks like the "fan" belt that drives the auxiliary components. You say 90k. is that miles or kilometres? I had a 1.4 Polo and had the timing belt done at 90,000Km which is around 60,000 miles.
