There is no point in putting short-term financial gain above long-term interests of the Football League and its member clubs. ©Mark Caitlin, CEO Pompey 27 May 2014

I usually have a business class ticket, so I could use the lounges, if only I could find them. I went on a train too, when I was there last week. From C to A I think.
-
Nope. Too much hassle, unfortunately.

The new airport in Doha is on the same site as the old one. I don't think the premium terminal is moving. I'll be there next Wednesday so I'll find out.

The new terminal opened three weeks ago

And since when was a football fan forum the place to go and look for ethical political debate?

I go there about once a month. Nice, new and user friendly. No problem with free visa on arrival for brits. Can be a bit of a long walk if you're unlucky.

How will you be voting on Thursday in the Euro and local elections?

Without wishing to give offence to any particular view, that in a nutshell is precisely what is wrong with what democracy has become in modern Britain, principally as a result of small narrow-minded leadership. Many people now see it as an opportunity to advance the personal goals of their own favourite minority interest, rather than pick the best people to lead the country. Party "leadership committees" have seen this and pander to the whims of those minorities, particularly in marginal constituencies. The proper Labour Party, the one I used to vote for when I was younger, isn't a socialist party anymore. It's just a loose coalition of clueless ragbag loonies. -
I've had loads of interesting experiences, but the only one I go out of my way to avoid, even if it means paying more, is Dubai.

Cortese speaking to BBC for first time since leaving Saints

Just heard it over here on the World Service. Interesting that he still referred to Southampton throughout as 'we'. -
Right, so it's a proper company then, and not a workers Co-operative. Whatever next?

Me too. It was where I learned to reverse park a 12 metre cruiser. But it is a very long way from Nice.

You have peers? On here?
-
I think you could actually make an excel spreadsheet to do that, with a new headline every time you hit the return key. I might have a go next time I'm sitting with nothing to do.
-
I'm sure I've seen that opinion before somewhere. You haven't, by any chance, been on any other threads on here have you, Prof?

My wife also bought an Epson WiFi printer a couple of months ago. Her's doesn't work either

So you're not a journalist then mate?

Pompey. Putting other people out of business since 1906.

If it was me, I'd probably have a look at that ninety million quid from the premier league.

Yeah, they might now be owned by a bunch of random investors with an eye for a property scheme, but next time they're bankrupt and standing in Court with a winding up petition from HMRC in their hands, they can't bring in new investors without the fan's approval. So there.

You're not allowed to pay the players overtime to dig the trenches after training is finished.
-
Nah, I'm sure they would have let us know by now if they had.

Get a router that can take a flash DD-WRT firmware.

It can be undone. It's no big deal
