Completely pointless comparison. That early days squad had the likes of Matt Paterson and Jacob Melis in it and was being built from the Poortvliet/Lowe austerity year, when Kayne McClaggom and Jamie White played. It wasn't one of the strongest squads in the division from Day 1, like ours has been.

Rubbish. We have a better squad than everyone we have played so far and we haven't played well in any of those 8 matches. We haven't looked organised in pressing in any of those matches. We haven't looked good going forwards in any of those matches. We look as bad as we did under Nathan Jones. There is no excuse.

He played in the first league match this season and was awful but has hardly got a look-in since. Our issue is we have a crap manager who doesn't know what he's trying to do or how to do it.

We could stop giving them new contracts and also get rid of hangers on like Lallana.

Did we really add quality on flanks, 10 etc.? The new guys don't look any better than Armstrong or Aribo.
