  1. No, because Germany managed their response to the virus properly.
  2. He's a cracking finisher. He'd do well at any team that creates chances. Juventus will need a new Ronaldo, Spurs might need a new Kane at some point, Real, as you say. Not sure if he's got the quality on the ball to play in a Man City / Barcelona sort of team but in a side that wants an out-and-out striker, he looks mustard.
  3. Watching Dortmund v Schalke. It's decent enough because Dortmund are a nice side to watch but obviously the atmosphere is akin to a pre-season friendly played in a library. Frankly, I really couldn't be arsed to watch the PL played out in empty stadiums.
  4. At what age?

GDPR doesn't apply to individuals posting on message boards and you were quoting a press article. Very odd.

Did you write “GDPR compliant alteration”. If so, why?

Ouch. After that, nothing else will do.
  9. I doubt we’ll spend a penny.
  10. Do you reckon he’s going to get suicided like Epstein?
  11. But if it's materially more risky for one group then it's not OK to just exclude them. Anyway, I edited the post because I can't be bothered with the inevitable weird race discussion.
  12. But we can't have players picking and choosing whether to play or not. Makes a mockery of the competition.

I used to cycle from Waterloo to Liverpool Street area and it was not particularly pleasant. OK on the backstreets but the busy junctions near the Thames and the City sucked big-time. Also, many of the cyclists were massive ****-heads.

There's no way of proving she caught it from him though? It's obviously assault but the chain of causation can easily be challenged, I would have thought.
  16. Most of those are currently being subsidised though and we'll probably have Hoedt, Lemina, Elyounoussi and Forster back on the wage bill (plus anyone I've forgotten). No, hopefully not as bad as being relegated but our chances of building a better squad are taking a big hit (along with some other clubs). This is actually likely to cause further inequality between the mega rich clubs and the PL also rans.
  17. Bit off that they called you a ****.

  19. He's such a drip. Can't handle anything without having a tantrum.
  20. TV money is the lion's share of revenue for clubs like Saints. Our wage bill is something like 65% of revenue and we may not be able to shift our duds this summer. This could have a material impact on our spending and financial standing over several years. We won't go into admin but we could end up in something of a debt spiral.
  21. I can't see any way it finishes by the end of June. There's 51 days (fewer by the time it starts) to play something like 90 matches. Isn't going to happen. So they need to settle the contract issue in a fair way as well.
  22. It's a country of over 50,000,000 people with approximately one twentieth of the number of recorded cases the UK has and less than one hundredth of the number of deaths so, yeah, I'd say it's much safer than Kev, Wayne and Trev waddling round B&Q
  23. I totally agree it wouldn't have worked overly well in the UK as a whole compared to, say, Hong Kong, Singapore or South Korea. But I think the point the "lift the lock-down" folk need to understand is that demand for services and for certain types of experience will remain low for some time. Ultimately, the economic damage has been done by the virus, not by governments taking precautions. The idea that everything would have been fine if we'd kept calm and carried on is a nonsense. That's not to say governments aren't important. Clearly they have a role in managing the disease, in providing safety nets and stimulus measures and providing calm and clear leadership (maybe we could, errr, inject disinfectant?).

UK "lock down" started 23 March. Most forms of transport use were below 50% against baseline by that date. Sure, you'd still have pubs, restaurants and what have you open if there was no mandate and no economic safety net but they'd be virtually empty in most places.
