It's not "based on nothing", is it? It's based on: - sponsor being an obscure start-up -sponsor having a website full of palpable bull As for Gao, reservations about him could be fairly based on: - reported to have been involved in criminal corruption - struggled to complete the initial purchase and reportedly incurred a lot of debt in doing so - Chinese business appears to have gone down the pan and been subject to hostile take-over - convoluted SFC ownership structure involving companies in Hong Kong and BVI - has barely uttered a peep about why he bought the club or what his plans are If we hadn't appointed Ralph H and had got that wrong, we'd probably be looking at financial ruin right now and a slide down the league. Actually, no, you're right. Everyone is an unreasonable reactionary and you, Fair Soggy, Arbiter of Moral Righteousness, Bringer of the Calm Head, Scrutineer of Evidence, Pied Piper of Maidstone, are correct when you say it's 50/50.

No, I'm talking about their use of dodgy sponsorship deals to breach the spending rules when they got promoted under the Thais. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/feb/21/leicester-settlement-football-league-ffp

They cheated their way out of the Championship though. Sorry.

AFCB will be dangerous down the flanks with him, Mings, Ibe and Gradel.
-
Yeah, that's a bad one.

Can't afford a completely new one. There aren't many newer used models on the market. And, in any case, it's a fairly old car, in the sense that they haven't changed a huge amount since it first came out, other than some front cosmetics around 2013. So a 2015, 2016, 2014 etc. are all fairly similar. It's only done 15k miles anyway so it's pretty new mechanically.

It's grey, not black?

Most of our ball boys are bang average.

“SunSport visited the home Oppitz shares with his wife, who refused to comment and turned our reporter away. But hanging from the washing line in the back garden was a blue T-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms identical to those worn by the fan who attacked O’Nien” https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/9097995/portsmouth-fan-kicked-sunderlands-luke-onien-named/

Maybe put some chavs in Stone Island jackets in the background to complete the picture?
-
Is it? You found it "very" funny? So, like, nearer Doug Stanhope than Lenny Henry?
-
I think UA just paste the chosen colour schemes into their standard templates and then we choose one. I don't think there is any actual "design" as far as our particular kit goes.
-
What the **** are you talking about? Fans are entitled to more than two sentences of public statement from the owner in over a year. This is an owner with no apparent redeeming qualities and about whom plenty of valid concerns exist. People like you are part of the problem.
-
The whole thing is complete trash.

That kit is too disgusting, even for our muppets to think it's OK. That said, if it is that kit, anyone who buys it needs treatment.

What's that girl doing in there? She must have been in town for the day and went by mistake.

Surely you just go with Everton and West Ham? Obviously Everton doesn't work here so the best rumour is West Ham. You could also add a bit of intrigue by saying that Villa are preparing a "warchest" and want to spaff some of it on Bolasie if they win the play off final. Where do I get my agent's licence?

NB. "Director" includes shadow director and people exercising control so you can't simply side-step the rule by appointing patsies as directors.

Coukd have been F.1.6, I guess: "A Person shall be disqualified from acting as a Director and no Club shall be permitted to have any Person acting as a Director of that Club if I'm the reasonable opinion of the Board, he has engaged in conduct outside the United Kingdom that would constitute an offence of the sort described in Rules F.1.5.2 or F.1.5.3, if such conduct had taken place in the United Kingdom, whether or not such conduct resulted in a Conviction." F.1.5.2 says: "he has a Conviction (which is not a Spent Conviction) imposed by a court of the United Kingdom or a competent court of foreign jurisdiction in respect of any offence involving any act which could reasonably be considered to be dishonest (and, for the avoidance of doubt, irrespective of the actual sentence imposed)". Obviously, I have no idea or evidence suggesting whether any offence was ever committed. Just speculating over the rules.

Don't rate Mings. He was no good for the Cherries. Ideally, we need a CB with an experienced head and some leadership. We then have two of those (new guy, plus Yoshi) to help bring Bednarek and Vestergaard along. There's go to be someone knocking around the Bundesliga that Ralph could identify?
