His kicking is very accurate. Anyone who criticises Davis' kicking doesn't deserve to be taken seriously, especially if they are advocating playing Bart instead.

Given our top-flight history, you would've thought Saints fans, of all people, would understand that sometimes smaller, less resourced teams are capable of upsetting the odds and making things uncomfortable for the bigger boys. Some of the stuff on here is so cretinous it beggars belief.

Davis is far better than Jones on the deck though and, being in the third tier, there is virtually next to no chance of signing anyone even remotely as good as Niemi. As for this worry about crosses: it might be more of an issue if we were constantly under the cosh but seeing as we dominate most of the matches we play in it's hardly a concern. In fact, KD's ability to do jack-**** all match and then pull off a world class save in the 80th minute probably makes him our ideal keeper right now. Look at our defensive record recently; it's very good.

Of course I understand the significance of giving away an eary goal. I haven't said anything contrary to that in my post. What I am saying is that Davis is one of our most reliable performers and is better than his understudy and is not the reason we aren't higher up the league.

Why do all the mentals base their analysis/predictions for the season on the most recent game only? It is rather weird. It's something you might expect of an infant but not an adult.

Seriously, how many goals are attributable to him this season? I can't think of another one. There probably is but I can't think of it. He is the least of our worries. Lambert's mistakes are costing us far more. And Bart is dodgy as hell.
