  1. Is OG any good?
  2. Nah, cos he's innocent; he was on holiday. All will turn out 'triffic.
  3. Good breeding.
  4. Put his email address in the "to" box of your email programme. Click on "send" when you've finished editing the text. HTH
  5. To give you your dues, you seem to have a sense of perspective about this and underneath the humour are aware of the fact that Pompey's rightful level is mid-Championship to mid-League One. Not many sensible skates on here, so all credit.
  6. Howdy all. Anyone know of a pub in Bristol likely to show the JPT match next Wednesday? Walkabout might I guess. Does anyone know of a better shout? Is there anywhere that attracts Saints fans when we're on? Many thanks. Benjii
  7. It's just a disgusting, pathetic, stinking little **** of a club.

    Attendances

I've lived in Cardiff, Nottingham and Bristol, as well as Soton in the last 10 years and Soton has the worse nightlife by far of all of them. That said, it also has less of the worse elements of those cities. If I was in my 40s and looking to settle down I would choose Soton over Cardiff or Nottingham. But I'm not.

    Attendances

This is a very accurate post.
  10. If you hurry you have time to arrange that second mortgage first.
  11. Didn't go to Huddersfield, no. Maybe "really good" was over the top but he's a good centre back in League One.
  12. She's not fit but if I came home drunk and she was lying on my sofa I would seek coitus.
  13. Absolutely, he's been really good when he's played this season IMO. I would pick him, possibly with Perry actually, and give Jaidi a rest.
  14. What does Mel Gibson think about all this?
  15. Is it common for managers to have an entitlement to a percentage of transfer fees or is this just Harry's peculiarity? I am astonished that this is allowed (well, maybe it isn't!) as it is clearly a massive conflict of interest when individuals who do not own the club/company can personally benefit from a sale of its assets on terms agreed by them! Complete madness.
  16. No.
  17. Mock the Week is pretty ****e and is a pale immitation of the shows it apes. The BBC is becoming a quite pathetic and spineless organisation.
  18. Correct but as a guy who's never played above League One level (is that right?) and is, outside Reading and Soton, an unknown I imagine the price determined by the compensation committee would be next to nothing - about £200k tops. I suspect, in fact, that Reading will be trying to persuade us to buy him in January rather than wait until the summer.
  19. This is spot on. The problem on Saturday was that Orient were so crap that even playing badly and hoofing it to Lambert you had that "we will score in a minute feeling" which meant we had just enough encouragement to keep playing that way. Once we changed in the second half Schneiderlin began playing it short to Lallana and Connolly and we built the play allowing the likes of Harding to get forward more also. Nothing much to do with the system.
  20. Rod Wallace and MLT both got over 20 in 89/90 I think.
  21. He was pretty good and his work rate is superb, however he did miss two sitters in the match and wasn't involved in the first half much at all (probably not his fault though). Either way, Pardew has achieved so much more with him in a couple of months than we managed for the whole of last year.
  22. It was hardly a pitch invasion and the Orient stewards were having a laugh with the perpetrators afterwards, once they had let them back in the stand. If we receive a punishment it will be an absolute disgrace. But we won't.
  23. Clearly he shouldn't be banned from working as a footballer - his punishment is his sentence. If you start banning criminals from working you will only hasten their return to crime. However, if any prospective employers wish to take a moral stance against employing him then good for them. He's a decent Championship player. It may be that 99% of the time he's a good bloke but occasionally loses his rag. Some might think it an acceptable trade-off and will be prepared to take him on that basis. Personally, I wouldn't particularly welcome him but I wouldn't criticise anyone who did.
  24. So, sort of a common sense mandate but with the words, "evil", "despicable" and "wretched" preceding those with a different view? Only joshing. Good post.
  25. I would say that both of those are bigger than the teams I listed for the simple fact that they are pretty well supported, but yes, compared to the likes of Forest, Leeds, Sheff Weds, Norwich and Saints they are minnows.
