Maybe Bizzle could write a stunning critique of it for his Phd.

Pathetic post. Any true Saints fan enjoys seeing those filthy scallys doing badly.

Well, yes, obviously. But we won't be!
-
Really? That's the weakest episode of Extras IMO.
-
Lol - absolutely no chance IMO.

So watch it on Iplayer or pick and choose your highlights on the website (which are often more comprehensive anyway?) I appreciate that if you really want to watch the entire programme as a composite work then the timing is not great but I doubt there are many people in the country who do want to watch the whole thing.

Are you currently using currants concurrently as currency with other forms of currency or are they your sole currency?

She's so fit. and talented.

I use golf markers as currency. Saves me a fortune.

That's pretty shocking really. One thing I don't like which someone else mentioned is that stupid bird reading out mundane and half-witted comments. Maniche is a bland and unengaging host. Steve Claridge is decent on the radio but looks like a plum on the telly. By the way, I only watched the first one and haven't bothered since so it might be better now.

I don't think we will get to the play-offs but I think we should finish somewhere around 10th.

Bryan is a winger/forward at Man U. Balenta is a type of wheat dish I think?

How is it appaling scheduling? They have to cover about 30 matches, most of which only a few thousand people give a flying **** about. It is a programme which absolutely cannot be shown "prime time". The material parts are all available online without having to sit through Barnsley v Blackpool or some other such ****e.

Oh no, I really hope he doesn't get fined a couple of hundred quid.

The penalty came from a corner. Obviously it's not ideal to miss chances but if set-pieces are creating easy chances (which they clearly are, whether penalties or sitters) then evidently there is nothing wrong with our attacking set pieces. As for our defending of set pieces, this has improved since we signed Trottman. Set pieces are not a weakness for us. Give it two or three weeks and you will start to see how much better we are than most of the teams in this division.
-
Moot point, the penalty was won from a corner.
-
Yeah, yesterday. Also Saga's "goal" came from a set piece and Thomas hit the bar from a set piece. Against Swindon we nearly scored twice from set pieces and against Brentford Trottman missed a sitter from a set piece.

If Gaydamak Snr was the owner then I think a demotion would be appropriate. Not only may they have broken rules but, if they did so they did it deliberately and with continued and prolonged deception. The money that was not fit and proper was used to tarnish forever in the annals of history the world's formost domestic club cup competition and has deprived another bigger club of a place in the Premier League. They should be demoted a league and forced to start the next season with a points deduction. Mind you, I won't mind for one minute if they're not as watching them implode this season might be funnier.

Our attacking set plays have looked pretty good in the last couple of games.

Only seen him against Brentford... He is certainly an improvement on Wotton in pretty much every area (mobility, tackling, positioning, passing) but he didn't exactly look like a class player. His passing was sometimes a bit rushed and I would like to think it wasn't one of his better performances. It was his first game with new team mates and I'm sure that element will improve, as will his attacking contribution as he develops an understanding with James. Definitely a positive signing and the sort of player we needed. If he brings the best out of James and/or Schneiderlin then that will be excellent news for us. I think we just need an out-and-out wide player to finish the midfield off now.

Just watched the highlights. Firstly, Saga's goal didn't look offside (although granted, the angle was not ideal). Secondly, both penalties looked like fair decisions. Thirdly, the ref was ****ting himself at the end of the match. Shame they didn't show the one-on-one which the ref pulled back.

Has he renounced diving?
-
I'm pretty sure they "focus on" our performance in training. I don't think AP sits the players down and delivers a lecture on referees' shortcomings. I don't think he is "focuss[ed] on" the referee purely by dint of having made a couple of comments. I think you'll find the reporter may have asked him about the ref. Something the reporter is unlikely to have done if we'd just won 3-0. Nothing to see here, move on please.

It's almost certainly true. I don't think anyone seriously believes Fahim paid off the bank debts do they? He either refinanced with borrowings from elsewhere or he renegotiated terms with the existing lenders. Either way Pompey are geared to buggery and have minimal income and cash reserves. I think if he had cleared the debts and reduced their gearing we would have heard about it by now from the horses' mouth! The lack of official comments (ie Fahim, PFC) on the detail of the deal speak more than any blog or media speculation.
