Agree with this. Gutted for our players as they didn't deserve to lose 4-1. Until Skates' goal James kept them in the match. On another day Lallana's header goes in and so does the chance from the corner in the first half. Lallana was exceptional and everyone played well. Antonio showed he can give a Prem defender trouble. Lambert bossed their defence. I really enjoyed the whole day despite the score, it confirmed two things to me: 1 - Pompey are definitely getting relegated, irrespective of the financial position; they are really not very good at all. 2 - Saints is the team on the south coast with the bright future.

I agree that he could dominate the area a bit more but you're not going to get amazing shot stoppers with faultless handling, superb marshalling and the ability to dribble through the opposition and create clear-cut chances in League One. He is better than most at this level and we are lucky to have him as he could be playing for a better team.

KD's distribution is excellent. It nearly always goes straight to Lambert. That is where it's supposed to go. Would you seriously prefer him to roll it to Thomas or Jaidi every time? That's what he was instructed to do last season and it was garbage. This season he has clearly been instructed to look for Lambert. He finds him 90% of the time. Lambert dominated them in the air last night. We won 3-1. Well done for not mentioning width though.

Garbage IMO. The only panic came from the bed wetters in the stands. The team played a very professional and accomplished game of cup football.

I wonder how much their debt increases in two hours?
