Humour/banter is far too subjective an issue to include in guidelines which result in banning posters. In my opinion neither Deppo, Hypo or the stain deserved to be banned. If people do not like their views put them on ignore. The only loser in all this is this forum.

Mrs D here. Our bins have been emptied every week so apart from a shoppimg trip in town I've no idea how bad it is/has been. I do, however know what the job is like, Mr D worked on the bins for a while. Yes it's easier with bins wheeled out to the road etc but it's still hard physical graft that has to be done regardless of the weather. Not sure where I stand on the pay cut, I haven't had a pay rise for 5 years so with inflation that's basically a pay cut every year. At the end of the day I still have a job where the hours suit my lifestyle, if they didn't I'd find something else. I don't blame the government, it's the mess we got into over the years, whoever had got in would have had to cut things. My problem is with those lazy bar stewards who can't take their rubbish home, cigarette butts fast food containers drink cans etc, and make a trip to the dump every now and again

The rumours thread.......well I never read it. It was already several pages long and the look I had was more off-topic than rumours. Having said that I had no problem with it being there. If people weren't happy with it then why didn't they do what I did, ignore it? The needs/wants of the many outweigh (or should) the needs/wants of the few!!!!!!

Mrs D here. I dislike watching football but look forward to the season. Mr D and the girls go off to the match and I have quality 'me' time to do as I like. Away matches are even better as I get longer 'me' time. It's a win win situation, tell your missus she has her own space for whatever she wants.

Mrs D has been to a home match and an away match and hated both. I now take our daughters, we all have ST's, and Mrs D is happy to stay home.
