It's NOT a 'normal' working day, end of. Mind you I'm in the camp that thinks shops etc should be closed on Sundays so that families can have at least 1 day a week to BE a family.

Those in court keep being referred to as 'lads'. How old are they? I would expect anyone over the age of about 10yrs to understand right from wrong. If they want to behave like hooligans then they should be prepared to take the consequences. If they didn't then they should not have a case to answer, simples.

If you decide to stay you must be 100% committed to staying as in the future you could blame the missus for the fact you didn't go. Like most on here I would say go. You are already in a long distance relationship so why not a longer distance with more prospects?

Totally agree

Sorry, I'll be at the hospital with my daughter.

Appreciation thread for all those unpaid volunteer mods

The one thing that has, to some extent, killed this forum is people's inability to accept that other people are entitled to their own opinion. You might not agree with that opinion, but that in no way deletes their right to hold it. P*ss taking is fine as long as there is no abuse of the poster. I don't contribute greatly but I read almost everything posted. TBH I haven't got any complaints about the quality of service and yes I would happily pay my £5 again, it's precious little for the enjoyment I get here. If I could offer a word of advice from my experience as a mod then of the first mods you take on, give half of them 9 months instead of 6 so that you always have 'experienced' mods even whilst they change. By the way Baj I enjoy the live text commentary, very helpful if I can't make the match (daughters illness issues).

As a mod myself on another forum I'd like to say thanks to those of you leaving. It's a thankless task for which you get a load of abuse and no praise. Most seem to think it's a power thing and a bit of fun. It isn't so thanks guys.

Thanks Mero, very decent of you.

I agree this needs to be run as a business but I think the charge is a little steep as the car park would be mostly empty on those days otherwise and we are there to support the club. I live 18miles away from St Mary's so when my kids and I use the Travel club I do drive and leave my car in the car park. I think a charge of £5-£6 would be fair.
-
Is it just the 'parkers' who will have to pay to park or does the club have to pay for the 'fans' to be able to use it? If the club has to pay then that is more money AA will have to find so how will that look for the CVA?

One for our ladies, What do women look for in a bloke?

I don't think Mr D could cope with two -
Thank you for clearing that up.

Tough one. I have ME but I stll work part time and do not claim benefit. A friend of mine who has ME works full time. I guess it depends on the severity. (by the way this is Mrs D not his Lordship )

My requirements are pretty easy, good sense of humour, caring, doesn't play the field, is a good friend as well as a great lover. All met by Mr D -
I object most strongly to the term 'incapacity slobs'. My daughter is on IB as she has multiple sclerosis, not everyone is trying to cheat the system so please stop referring to her as an 'incapacity slob'.

74.07% would be rounded DOWN. 74.7% would be rounded UP.

Good luck Duncan. I might not agree with you but I have every respect for you for standing up for your beliefs.

At the start of this season my aim as a fan was to survive. Anything else was a bonus. We nearly lost our club and now we have a trip to Wembley to look forward too, players who put in the effort and a manager who tells us the truth. Yes I know Markus provided the money to save our clob and Nicola is good at what he does but I think it's time for a reality check. We are NOT a premiership side who can walk this league. I think the facts speak for themselves, this year we have been doing well, next season I fully expect to be in the top of this league. We've had the 'change manager every 5 minutes' crap, give the guy a decent go. If we're not going well by the end of 2010 then is the time to think of changing. Keep up the good work Alan, most fans are fully behind you.

Most of these store operate a policy where they have a company send in people that are old enough to buy alcohol but are under 21. If the cashier does not ask for ID then they are up on a disciplinary, 3 strikes and they are out. To protect themselves the cashiers usually look at 25 as the age to go by as guessing soemone's age is not easy. It's a simple enough thing to carry your driving licence in your wallet.

Wasn't today the day they were arguing with HMRC about the amount they owe?

Did anyone else park in the Old Pea**** car park? I appear to have left my backpack there with my season tickets amongst other things as I was getting the kids sorted in the car. Tried the pub but it's not been handed in. If anyone knows anything please let me know.
