  1. Must be my PC or Router settings, can't get any streams.
  2. Just got home, any streams, PLEASE!
  3. Slightly disappointed by the comments towards TP but they were expected. Both LM and TP will have different versions of the same story. I'm looking forward to read the book though.
  4. And I was one of the 19,839
  5. I'm struggling to digest my hat, which at 0-2 down, I said I would eat if we got anything out of this
  6. Mason really is a very poor referee! This is not a reaction to the Mane 'decision', which was shocking. He isn't a Prem ref. I can't understand what the referees assessor sees different to every man and his dog
  7. Can't see us coming away with points today.
  8. i also went to a few of those games, Cardiff, by car. It was bloody freezing and I shivered the whole game! Pompey, enjoyed that! Wolves, Webb with the overhead. Bristol City, went by train, nasty crowd there trying to cause trouble? Last one and most memorable, Orient! Terry Paine was mobbed at the end. Great days!
  9. Spy, many thanks for posting. This brought back many happy memories! My first game was v Bournemouth in 1956, I didn't have far to travel to the Deall from Burlington Road. When I married, I lived in Milton Road, so again I only had to walk down the road on a Saturday.
  10. No more than Bournemouth deserve
  11. Very poor display from Saints. Dire game to watch as well.
  12. Poor goal to concede, poor choice by Fonte.
  13. Pelle cost us the game?!! Behave. They showed their class and we couldn't cope with the pressure. Pre match, I thought we would draw but we just failed to stem the tide. Onwards we go.
  14. Had to come! We couldn't cope with the pressure.
  15. £60 plus VAT?! Hope you enjoy it.
  16. David in Sweden, answer please! Good result and pleased for Long.
  17. i really can't believe I'm wasting one of my three posts replying to this but I must! If you are serious, you really are in need of Spectacles. If you were joking, you forgot to write, lol.
  18. Well done Herbie (a lovely man!) for the report and Ladysaint for posting it.
  19. I'm more than pleased with this result. FF was really good tonight!
  20. Burlington it was! 62 ish, I was playing Wed, Sat and Sunday football, thinking I was the new John Giles or Tommy Traynor. Hah, to be fair, I was thankful for a game. When I packed up playing, I took up refereeing and I was average at that as well lol. Good times and memories. Name?
  21. Guilty Whatever it was, I'm sorry!
  22. I read this with a feeling of sadness. I remember Tommy fondly from when I was living in the Polygon area as a young boy in the 50's. Apart from doing two paper rounds as a boy, I helped the milkman on his round in the Polygon area every Saturday. Tommy and Bobby McLaughlin were in 'digs' in a corner house in Harborough Road. I always made sure they got two pints of Gold Top instead of Silver Top, thinking I was building them up with Channel Islands finest milk (well, I was only a nipper!). During the season, I would race home from the round and gulp down my lunch and run across the road to the Dell. I would then approach the giant of a commissionaire at the main reception and ask for Mr. Mulgrew. Then be taken into the ground and stand right by the tunnel and watch the game for free. If memory serves me, he finished in the very early 60's. A lovely friendly man. RIP, Tommy.
  23. ah, lovely Cork, birth place of the incredible Christy Ring! (OK, it was County Cork, I know). My hero as a boy.
  24. You should be ashamed to use that word. Sadly, I bet you won't be.
  25. Great header and result! When oh when will Referees punish Smalling for persistent shirt pulling??
