  1. And SMS when they took out Bale.
  2. The bed pan side is the one to avoid.
  3. Ditto. A nasty challenge to take out their best player, followed by an own goal and then a penalty shoot-out heartbreak.
  4. Yes indeed. But it doesn't seem to stop some of the posters here thinking he's the best thing since sliced bread.
  5. 9th, possibly 8th. I'd settle for that.
  6. Exactly this. It also made Puel's job much harder.
  7. I think this match was the straw on the camel's back that got him sacked (after years of fans wanting him out).
  8. A playoff at a neutral ground. With Jon Moss as referee.
  9. And on a more serious note, I'm more worried that Jon Moss will be the referee and award Swansea 7 penalties.
  10. I think you may need to revise your percentage.
  11. In the highly unlikely event that Swansea overtake us we'll be able to look back at this thread and have a good laugh.
  12. It's just as likely as Leicester winning the league.
  13. Bad news: City only have one injury. Good news: It's Aguero.
  14. He's leaving at the end of the season anyway, so this was his parting gift to his successor (no CL football).
  15. Huddersfield parking two buses. With about 7 men on the goal line at one stage.
  16. Why the **** is Hazard on the bench?
  17. Even if we'd got 4 points, with an Everton win and Swansea draw, we'd only be 2 points ahead of the Swans instead of 3. So yes the Everton draw may indeed be a blessing in disguise. But it certainly didn't feel like it at the time when that bloody equaliser deflected in! The 2005 flashbacks were unbearable.

  19. Actually in his post-match interview he said he was going to swap a CB with Gabbi 5 minutes later, and the injury just made him do it 5 minutes earlier than planned. Ironically Gabbi scores 4 minutes after coming on.
  20. That could very well be true. If we'd beaten Everton then a draw yesterday was a real possibility. We'd still have got the 4 points, but Swansea would only be 2 points behind us going into the last match. We definitely got the draw and win in the right order!
  21. "Dr. Bunsen, what does 'lesson learned' mean?" "I've got no idea, Beaker."
  22. And the draw away to Everton no longer feels like a defeat!
  23. Not sacking the clown months ago was a deliberate choice, and was a **** up that was obvious to everyone and his dog.
  24. Only one I can remember, West Ham, his first league match, finding his feet, and us still recovering from the clown hangover. Decent against Arsenal, unlucky against Chelsea who should've been down to 10 men, hard fought (priceless) point away to Leicester, robbed against Everton (but another priceless point), the crucial Bournemouth win, and of course today. A manager doesn't have the vast premier league experience he has without being decent at his job. If he was at a Mourinho level he wouldn't be an option for a club our size. Offer him a contract.
  25. Currently 7 better (if the BBC have it right). 9 better if we win by 1 today.
