What you are saying would correctly apply to Puel last season. But this season we have a manager who is doing far worse with a stronger squad and no midweek European matches. Just like Gray and Wigley, it's clear MP is out of his depth.

Hoedt has already made it clear that he's pissed off. I feel even worse for Yoshida, who's been playing very well, and is a model professional who is being dropped to accommodate a **** with a polar opposite character. Not to mention young Stephens, who's now completely out of the picture.

8th and a cup final with a weaker squad and many more matches vs. very possible relegation (and obviously no cup run) with a stronger squad and no extra matches. I'm not gloating.
