  1. He appears not to be a Leicester-level fit player.
  2. What's Leicester's secret with injuries (or lack thereof)? Is it really just pure luck?
  3. Over on one of the Leicester forums they dispute that, saying that the "sports science" (or something like that) that Pearson introduced is the reason they have so few injuries. They are either talking bollocks, or if not, it's something we should try to emulate.
  4. Nice thread bump. Although Batman may disagree.
  5. Wellbeck is one of those rare players who seems to play better for his country than his club (at least during his time at Utd).
  6. One of the main reasons England has been a failure for the last 50 years is that we are ****ing shit at taking penalties.
  7. By that logic the club would be wasting their time trying to extend his contract.
  8. How about offering a 2 or 3 year extension with a Barca/Holland release clause? I think that he may go for that.
  9. I thought that was their version of this one at Staplewood:
  10. Oi, hands off our Ronald!
  11. I think it's safe to say that any Leicester fan (or anyone else) who had predicted, 30 games into last season, that they'd win the league this season, would have been called barking. Very barking.
  12. Compare that to last year:
  13. He was slow to dive for Coutinho's long shot - I blame him for not saving that one. But Sturridge's was very well taken, I can't blame him for that one.
  14. We should cheer them on against PSG, because if they win that tie their semi-final matches would be just before and after their visit to SMS. Good chance they would prioritize those matches versus the one against us.
  15. Agreed with that part. It would only be in hindsight a disappointment if a win against them doesn't affect our position, but ends up helping the north London bastards win the league. Sounds good to me. A mixture of admiration and jealousy from me, but the jealousy is swamped by not wanting MP and co. winning it. If it was the last game of the season, and the result didn't affect our position, I'd hope that we'd outclass them for 90 minutes, have 3 perfectly good goals disallowed, and they'd win on an atrocious penalty decision. We'd claim the moral victory, and they'd claim the title at Spurs' expense (whose heads would explode at the injustice of it).
  16. Indeed it is. So 7 wins coming up then, it's written in the stars.
  17. True dat. Nightmare scenario: beat Leicester, lose against Spurs, Spurs win the league by a point or two, and we miss out on Europe.
  18. It's a couple of weeks away, but this has been a match of anticipation for a while. They have been unbelievable. If we'd lost today Europe would almost be over, and a loss against Leicester would have a big silver lining of keeping them ahead of Spurs. But with today's epic victory this match is big for both teams. I just hope a win for us doesn't end up meaningless for us at the end of the season, while helping those north London bastards win the league.
  19. That Ranieri chap is doing quite well.
  20. Yes, I'd definitely have Benali at left back. Left back in the changing room (boom! boom!)
  21. Hands up who would take a loss against Leicester and a win against Spurs.
