Can't blame them. They are not safe from the drop, so it would be madness to sell a key striker to a relegation rival.

I'm not sure they are our rivals this season, surely we'll finish way above them. If he helps them take points off our upper mid-table rivals (and he can't play against us) I don't see any harm if he joins them.

Not desperate, but sensible. If they are after another established striker it means they are not resting on their laurels, and realise that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to win the league (or at least qualify for the CL). Without a decent backup, an injury, suspension or loss of form to Vardy could undo all their good work. I wish we had had the same attitude a year ago, when we were a backup striker (and GK) short and otherwise could have had a decent shot for top 4. This.

A couple of weeks ago we were looking at this match with trepidation. 3 successive impressive wins, plus an Austin, and things have turned around 180 degrees. I guess Austin probably will start, so who makes way? Defensively it's hard to see any changes from the team that started, and played brilliantly, against Man U. Although with 10 days rest Davis may be fit from his mysterious injury.
