  1. Have you ever test driven one? Once you do you very likely won't want to go back to a Fred Flintstone fossil mobile again. I have a Leaf and love it. It's a blast to drive, not to mention saving tons on petrol and maintenance. Range is the only downside, but most of the time I don't need to go more than the 70 odd miles maximum. Got a charger in the garage, so top it off every night.
  2. So another vote for the skates.
  3. Wow, I didn't realise the PL will have playoffs next season. Something to look forward to. Is that for an extra Europa spot?
  4. That's fairly accurate isn't it?
  5. Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore (Republican)
  6. In fairness, they do same thing repeatedly (living beyond their means) and expect the same result (getting away with it). You have to give them credit, it's the one thing (literally) that they are good at.
  7. DFCSBs at home. Give them a huge rogering that will swamp the two 4-1s combined, along with their 1-1 wins in the Championship which "denied us promotion" and "saved them from relegation." After their double digit humiliation their knuckle-dragging fans manage to run on to the pitch, giving their cesspit of a club a fine greater than their match/TV receipts. They go home empty handed with their tails between their fins.
  8. I beg to differ. If for example one of our number of blocked shots had gone in and we won 2-1, would we still have been shit?
  9. This. If we had the confidence of Leicester, say, we would've won by 3 or 4 today. Which reminds me, I'm jealous of Leicester. Amazing transformation from this time last year.
  10. Most got the Man City result correct.
  11. Not necessarily. #butterflyeffect
  12. First half we were undone by individual errors in defense, coupled with ruthless finishing and a superb strike. I wasn't able to watch the second half (lucky me), but presumably it was a case of going for shit or bust.
  13. Saggy. Beat that.
  14. For some strange reason I'm optimistic about this one. A Lovren o.g. in the 90th minute to win it would be ideal of course. Or, if it goes to penalties:
  15. Disagree completely. Luggy was a decent if unspectacular manager for us. And it wasn't his fault that the ruddy cheeked bastard replaced him with that walking disaster Wigley. One would have thought that Lowe would have learnt from his Gray fiasco.
  16. Top two by a mile, Saggy and Br*nf**t. Both were appallingly bad, and on top of that utter ****s. 1. Saggy wins it, for getting us relegated and not giving a toss, blaming the players almost from day one, and then crawling back to the skates after "mission accomplished". ****ing bastard. 2. Br*nf**t was also a disaster, but didn't get us relegated and actually won 5 in a row (God knows how). 3. Wigley 4. Poortvliet 5. Gray 6. Wotte All drooling incompetent disasters. No better than Br*nf**t, but not as obnoxious. 7. Souness One or two good performances in between mostly dross. Miraculously didn't relegate us.
  17. Good point. Maybe Sir Ronald is doing an anti-Poch, and playing the weakened team in the league, saving all first choices for the cup. If we win on Wednesday all is forgiven.
  18. Good job the attacking Cedric was dropped in favour of the more solid defensive Yoshida.
  19. The 6-3 against (10 man) Utd aside, Souness was appalling. It was a miracle we stayed up under his incompetence, and that's not even considering Ali Dia (R.I.P.)
  20. George Weah tweeted it last night, apparently.
  21. I'm also sorry to hear about his shocking passing.
  22. City are a decent side. Coming back off a home defeat a draw would be a very good result.
  23. A small bit of amusement in an otherwise miserable weekend.
  24. It's ok, you can call them bastards here without the asterisks. ****ing ****s is a different matter.
