As we found out, the FL can make up rules at any time to suit their purposes. So a massive points deduction is possible if the Cheats weasel their way out of servicing the CVA, despite any fine print in it.
But then again, they do have a track record of getting away with murder.
Cheating, lying bastards.
In fairness, "progress" could be interpreted in many different ways. For example, if a serial killer reforms himself, and is now content with rape, pillage, and only the odd killing, wouldn't that be considered progress?
The FA head of "integrity", no less, jumping ship to join the club with the least integrity in English football history. I still haven't heard anyone come up with any sort of rational explanation, other than involving very thick brown envelopes.
I agree that HMRC's QC was incompetent (he should've focused on the Android's extremely dodgy inflation of unsecured creditor debt, to push HMRC below 25%).
But I still mainly blame Injustices Mann and Whatshername (who let them continue trading insolvently).
As I keep saying, Luggy's record was not bad (1.23 points per game). Gray and Wigley were a hundred times worse! And don't get me started on the two Dutch clowns.
... Chris Nicholl was sacked, replaced by the football genius Br*nf**t. Saints only had 3 managers in previous 36 years before Nicholl's sacking, but since then they've sacked and hired God knows how many managers over the last 20 years.
A lot of fans were happy to see him go, but I thought he did a pretty decent job, and we had a bloody exciting team under him (albeit with a very dodgy defence).
And the icing on the cake is that he was persuaded by Lumpitt and Stevie-boy to fund an expensively assembled "quality over quantity" squad to make a swift return to the PL.
Talk about about throwing good* money after bad.
* (well, dodgy maybe)
Yes, the Canucks looked great, and poor Niemi let in 7, but he didn't get much help from his defence (just like when he played for Saints under Saggy ).
