That I actually agree with, as I've mentioned a number of times (and you have too, I know). But, he also is making a gamble on promotion. If your lot go up you may be lucky enough to have enough left over, after he sells and gets as much out as possible, to have a chance of surviving, especially if the new owner (if a stupid enough one can be found) has sufficient dosh and is suitably benevolent. If you don't go up, the shit really hits the fan for you, and it's almost certainly goodnight Vienna for Cheats FC. Fingers crossed.

It'll be poetic justice if they (Cardiff) go up at Bigger Cheats FC's expense. Oh how we'll laugh.

The promise of future parachute payments is surely the only thing keeping them alive at the moment. If BC is indeed borrowing against these future payments, it can only bring forward the date of their collapse. Which reinforces my view that if they don't go up this season, BC will pull the plug, scarper with everything that isn't bolted down, and it's game over for Cheats FC. Fingers crossed.

And don't forget the increased parachute payments the year they went down. Injustices Mann and Tart not winding them up. The PL relaxing the embargo. Getting around the FL embargo. Indeed. The parachute payments, together with a gamble on promotion, to be precise. All this talk from AA about liquidation is pure bullshit. But it worked on the PL and Injustices Mann and Tart, so why not on the FL? They'll string on the administration until either it looks a good bet on promotion, or pull the plug if it looks unlikely.
