Spot on mate. Our players outside of the first 11 do not have the cutting edge required for a team chasing promotion. This was obvious from the triangular pre-season tournament on. The first 11 have surpassed my expectations this season already - not because I think they are the best 11 in the Championship but because they just have the decisive winning, cutting edge - that "certain something". Finding back-up players to cover for them or players to replace them and improve the first 11 will be very difficult indeed.

Canada's post at 258 sums it up for me. The club's expectations seem clear and this will hopefully serve as a deterent to any other bugger who tries to mess us around in future. Chez, why are you and others interested in how much this costs the club? It's not your money. Cortese has to answer to the owners. He is a smart man and will be able to justify his actions, be it in the long termor short term best interest of their investment. Gone are the days of financial instability, administration and a blood-sucking PLC structure - we need to move on and stop stressing about the clubs finances.

NFL Season 2011/2012 (includes cheerleader pics)

Just booked 6th February off work so I can watch the Superbowl guilt-free. Without Sky it's the only time I get to see it live on TV. I 'support' NYG and so I am particularly looking forward to this year. Watched the Superbowl a few years back in the Carribean with lots of Americans in a sports bar - an Irish New Yorker who reminded me of Brad Pitt's Pikey character (in that I hardly understood a word he said) and I were pretty much the only ones rooting for NYG and he kept telling me how people hated us and Eli Manning. It was a good night and we got thoroughly drunk and then ate lots of hotdogs out of a self-serving machine. Happy days. -
There was no kissing. Absolutely none. Last night I dreampt an old school flame was massaging me. SHE was and still is hot. I feel better. I think my problem is going on facebook late at night just before bed. Protein shake just before bed also means I dream more. From now on I will stick to hetro porn channels. Surprised nobody but Adrian have owned up to similar though. I'll probably dream of him tonight now :0( Anyway, thanks for the support. Cum on you Saints x

No not yet. That's my second best option behind invading Poland. I reckon Poland will be fairly easy to capture given that most of the blokes of fighting age are all over here stealing our jobs*. *This is tongue in cheek. And when I say tongue in cheek I mean as per the saying not my tongue inside some blokes hairy cheek.

Spooning a guy I train with in the gym in a single bed. I was behind and it kind of just slipped in. He wondered what was happening and I told him not to worry. It felt kinda nice. I am comforted by Adrian's reply and will see if I can get some of that Gay Away stuff just in case I'm on the turn.

Has anyone else ever had one or is it just me? Feeling a bit weird today now.

Rhodes. He would score a lot of goals for us.

Must really hurt seeing a Welsh team doing well in the Prem. Lol. -
Ask your wife or girlfriend to name saints players.....

My missus reckons Lua Lua plays for us. Bit odd. -
Why are people moaning about it not being a permanent move? Who gives a sh!t provided he can help get us in the Prem?!

Who is this week's mystery signing?
Junior Mullet replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Yeah it's a Monday morning thing. What I meant to say was he looked neat and tidy but didnt do anything to stand out or to justify any of the hype. From that point of view he was disappointing. He wasn't awful at all - I stand corrected! -
Rupert ran us as a farm - spent lots of money and placed lots of emphasis on the youth system to ensure that we had cheap first team players and could make a buck or two in the transfer market. Then when his grand scheme failed we couldn't keep hold of the better young players. The past has passed and the biggest test is yet to come - can we keep hold of the cream of the current crop, who by all accounts are a pretty handy bunch. We certainly have the money to keep them here and PL status should make us a very attractive proposition to any good youngster coming through who may in the past have looked elsewhere. Dyer has been exceptional this season and looks to have become a very accomplished PL player. Shame really because he was such a little sh!t whenever I met him.

Who is this week's mystery signing?
Junior Mullet replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Probably be completely disappointed. I know Clyne is rated but he was awful against us for Palace recently. He looked neat and tidy but never got forward and looked quite ordinary. Not really observed him in other games to say whether that was a one off. Help me out guys, does he have pace, skill, can he deliver a cross on a sixpence? -
He grew up in Woking and went to school with my mum. Went out with her best mate and had his 16th birhday do around my mum's house. Now he's old he's started to look like my mum.

When did we ever spend anywhere near £6m on a player. Laughable. With the recent experiences and difficulties courting British talent it is no wonder the club are searching abroad.
-
I too find that Facebook is the best forum to help locate people who've £50k odd of my money.

Rise above it mate. Count your blessings that you are not as sad as others.

Nobody has mentioned the big difference between what Suarez said and John Terry. Suarez said a Spanish term which apparently is not offensive and is commonplace in South America and is actually used by commentators there etc (and I mean credible commentators rather than their equivalent of Big Ron). This does not appear to have been taken into account in calculating the length of his ban, surely. John Terry's comment was, IMO, a lot worse and wholly inexcusable. Despite this I fully expect Terry to receive a more lenient ban, that is if he doesn't escape punishment altogether.

I predict that England will once embarass the nation at the Euros but the GB team that will be put together for the Olympics will do very well.

Had mine in Edinburgh. It was fantastic - cheap, not too far and full of titty bars.

Anyone who votes Lib Dem deserves all they get.

Bart would turn to jelly inside Fratton. We will do everything to make sure Kelv plays.

There are loads of midfielders who could do a better job for us than Morgan. I agree he rarely does much. Who here would not swap Morgan for a second Chaplow?

My guess has always been that life elsewhere in the universe would be fairly similar to the story of life on this planet ie. single-cell organisms morphing into complex life forms given the right conditions and just a smidgeon of luck. It would be awesome to see how other planets' life systems compare to our own, especially if their evolutionary processes are similar and in fact go beyond their equivalent of humans - how weird would that be!! For those of you that say the universe must be teeming with life, I tend to agree and I want to agree but you should check out the lonely earth theory for balance - the presence of complex life structures on earth is due to many many variables being just right. But as Adrian says, if you buy an almost infinite number of lottery tickets....
