  1. Delighted for Mane. Not for van ****, nor lovren. Ambivalent about lallana
  2. It’s quite interesting reading their boards at the moment. Plenty are supportive of the clubs stance, which surprised me. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=206083 It’s a morally repugnant move, although if it was saints in this position we’d have plenty of idiots on here stating we shouldn’t pay as well no doubt
  3. Well given the 3 named allegedly made £5m from their steams they are the rich! I agree penalties seem disproportionate, but guessing that as well as providing streams they would have been up to other things like laundering the proceeds, which would potentially have affected the term.
  4. Really wish there was a function to append this to the opening post... Thanks for looking this up. I was sure they'd be a multitude of posts slating tadic from the op. The trolling (even if unintentional) on here is ridiculous and could really do with being clamped down on... My view is I'm delighted to see Tadic perform so brilliantly last night. It was an iconic performance that he'll never better I suspect. He was a great (if inconsistent) servant for us who gave us 4 years. Perhaps we sold him for too little, but I'd rather sell quality players cheaply after 4 years than have scenarios like van **** which leaves a very sour taste. Congrats Dusan!
  5. Given the content in there Cardiff may have a point. If nantes were involved in the flight in anyway Cardiff have a right to be peed off. Sounds more like it was the agents fault though. Not convinced on the not registered with the premier league bit either. That shouldn't matter either way
  6. Sorry this was in response to OldNick (forum posting fail....)
  7. I'm actually a little stunned by this.... You think a very well know footballer passing at the age of 81 is somehow more important than a current top level, though much less well known, footballer dying in tragic circumstances?? Gordon Banks is one of England's all time greats, but his passing at this time pales in comparison. And you're also ignoring that fact that a huge amount of the Sala thread is discussing how the event occurred, as well as a fair bit of mean spirited comments about Cardiff milking it for all it's worth and it somehow being OK for a couple of Saints fans to mock Cardiff supporters about the tragedy. Relatively little of the posts is in tribute to the player. For all that, it is indeed sad that one of Englands greatest players has passed. RIP Gordon
  8. I seem to recall the Pahars one was when he kicked his left leg with his right one, fell over as a result and got the pen! I also seem to recall there was no defender within a yard of him! If my memory is correct, that has to be the dodgiest penno we've had in the modern era
  9. See I thought Redmond was a bit poorer than he has been recently today, which shows how good he has been in recent weeks. Spot on re the team performance (excluding Cedric unfortunately)
  10. Really surprised at the MotM poll. Hojbjerg by a country mile for me. Don’t think he put a foot wrong all game. Won every tackle, didn’t misplace any short passes, and was barking instructions to his teammates to ensure we had a good shape. Hope he remains captain when Bertrand comes back
  11. Sheesh what a load of ****e... if we’d been relegated we almost certainly would be a lot higher than that! So what exactly is the point of that table
  12. I would pay good money to hear this sung at a football game!
  13. It’s funny all this continual criticism of Reed. I distinctly remember him getting flack in the summer because he allegedly wanted to look at other candidates and not appoint Hughes full time. Now he’s getting flack for the compensation paid to a manager he didn’t want!
  14. Can you confirm you've fixed Hoedts stats this year MLG? He was quite good on the last one which was very off-putting
  15. I’m sure I heard radio silent say his contract had finished, but maybe wrong. I bet Somerset we’re glad to have Don Bess back today... he went for over 11 an over! Still we have a pretty bad record against Somerset so it ain’t over yet
  16. You seem to be getting Theo mixed up with Andrew Surman... not an easy mistake to make. Theo left us in our first season after being relegated from the premier league, after 6 months in the first team. Given his talent, you could definitely argue that has turned out to be a mistake. We were still unfortunate enough to be managed by c**tknap at that time. Now there’s someone who’s almost worth hating! Still can’t do it though. I’m too nice
  17. I'm aware of all of it. I'm also aware none of it is confirmed. It's basically what people from the club has said against what he has said, and none of us will never know what that truth is, just what we choose to believe. Wolves was allegedly one of the clubs he could have left on a free for when we were in League One, but he signed a new contract before we were even confirmed for promotion At the end of the day we got many good years out of Lallana. If he was sometimes a tw*t, or even often is a tw*t, that makes him no different from 90% of people in the world.
  18. I'm a little surprised at the stick Lallana gets tbh. Yes he left in bad circumstances but he was with us for several years. People here seem to forget he could have left on a free transfer when we were in League One, and had Premier League clubs in for him then (though not as big as Liverpool). He was instrumental in helping us up the leagues and staying up the first couple of years in the Premier League. Yes he said one thing and did the other, but all players are conditioned to say how much the love their club / fans. More fool us if we believe it! Lovern & Van Dyjk on the other hand - bellends!
