We were linked in January with Matt Tubbs of Crawley but I dont think he wanted to leave whilst Crawley were doing well in the FA Cup. Why not go for a loan untill the end of the season with a proviso to purchase in the summer. I think that could be a good deal all round

For Me the first goal was definatly down to KD's poor positioning and I think if they dont score that one we would have won at a canter. That goal definatly got them going . I think also we must now regret not pushing the boat out in the transfer window for CMS, Even at a couple of million he would have been a bargain.

If one or two players have a off day yes it happens, but the whole team playing poorly and not being up for it as much as the opposition says to me they were not prepared properly.

Walter Smith, Rangers maager is interested in signing Goodwillie from Dundee Utd( Forward), Has just said on Scottish TV that he would need to sell a couple of players first if the deals could be done. May be some legs in the Beattie rumour after all, especially as JB hasn't settled here in Scotland.

Agreed, Nothing wrong with a bit of sensible speculation.

I am not so much worried about who we sign or dont sign in January,more concerned about what has happened to the players we currently have. On paper the strongest squad in the division but for whatever reasons they are not performing anything like they should be. I dont see many positions in the team where we could replace with a better player, on paper that is. I think it is more a case of somebody needing to get the best from what is a excellent squad that should be winning matches in this league week in and week out.

I only post here on rare occassions but have to say I totally agree with CB FRY, Adkins is underperforming and more importantly the players are underperforming. Adkins does not seem to have either the motivational skills or the dressing room backing that Pardew had. I thought all things considered Pardew did a pretty good job last year and I totally disagreed with his sacking. I actually think that had Pardew still been here we would probably be in the top two at the moment. There is no doubt that something is missing from the set up at the moment, the results and players performances are to erratic. NA still has time to sort it but many more days like yesterday and it will be another year lost from the Cortese 5 year Master plan.
