Well that was a long drive for me. 7 hours not including the ferry crossing. And Carlisle is very much a home game for me Shame we lost. I could see what NA was trying to do re his first half formation. I have notice in games I have attended so far that teams are trying to stifle our type of play from the off. carlisle were no different, hustling our ball players to make them release the ball early. AP as well as NA have commented on this and we need to be able to adapt our game from the off. Until we do I can see as giving stupid goals away. Finally I cannot believe a number of you are sharpening your knives for NA and others heads. perhaps you should start attending more away games. carlisle is not an easy place to get a result.

I have an inkling who leftback is weston. Im not suprised at his views they are consistent with his views of past regimes, but as you say there is no smoke witjhout fire. but that fire is only a very small ember and if someone keeps blowing on the ember the wole situation may catch light. I hope not as we might end up with a fire engine with no hose pipe or water to extinguish the flames. ( I.e we could lose the club)

Pele I was not having a go it you . it was in general and we seem to have this annual ritual of slagging off players. {Point I was making is that if the manager thought either harding . lambert puncheon et al was not performing to what he needs as a team tctically or otherwise I am sure he would drop them. but at this stage the are carrying out the role the manager wants. Im no football coach but a good hockey coach and I get my players to play in a certain way depending on the opposition I start with what is my strongest line up for the tactics I have chosen and then if it is not working . I change tactics by initially tweaking positional play. if that dosent work then I make subs. Im sure thats how adkins is managing the team I just get a little frustrated when someone is constantly having a pop at players
