Forgetting our biases for a second, I don’t think he’d be happy at somewhere like West Ham. For a start he’d be a Moyes signing and he’s very likely to be gone by November. Secondly, West Ham in my opinion will struggle next year so he’ll be in another scrap as opposed to winning games with confidence week in week out.

I really don’t want Prowsey to leave at any price. We’re only a few signing’s away from a very good Championship team that could end up with a ton of points whilst playing great football.

As I write this I’m approaching being awake for 24 hours solid and have absolutely no chance of going to sleep (the mrs snoring like a turtle 🐢 with a cold doesn’t help), and I’m watching the sun come up 😬. This isn’t something that often happens in all fairness just from time to time, but I’m wondering what if any of you fine folks have this problem and what you do about it - short of prescribed medication. The 1 thing I wish I’d done when I was younger was do an apprenticeship and get qualified in something that I could fall back on - and is something I’m going to be guiding my eldest into when the time comes in a couple of years. I’ve had some big losses and big wins in business. Days when I’ve sat on my arse day after day making 3k per day on an 80% net margin, and months/years when I wasn’t sure if I’d ever stop working 7 days a week, month after month and completely burning out. But the 1 thing I crave now more than ever is time. Money is nice but definitely not something I now chase. I’m much happier for it, too.
