Thought I'd share my experience of leaving sky and trying to use virgin's broadband and phone. As per my original post I was leaving sky mainly to cut the monthly bill down and also to get connected to virgins fiberoptic broadband, using my sky box as a freesat. Anyway after cancelling everything with sky and agreeing a price with virgin, including keeping our phone number & setting a date for the internet to come on it dawned on me very quickly that virgin couldn't organise a **** in a brothel! On my second phone call I was told that there was no fiberoptic broadband in my area and they had no intention of ever installing it! After a good old fashioned moan they said there was nothing I could do about it and the router and welcome pack was on it's way.......10 days later there was no sign of said virgin s**t but the phone was on......with a new number & a weird clicking on the line ffs! After 14 days still no hardware so I called them all fecked off like to find out why they hate me so much, only to be told we're so sorry you mug we haven't even arranged for the broadband to be turned on, that'll be another 10 days! Now as you can imagine one ain't best pleased at this moment in time...so was left with no choice but to tell them to stick their service up bransons goatied butt. So after a couple of calls back to sky I happened to mention to them that I only intended to use their box as a freesat and it ended up with me getting quite a result.....unlimited broadband and phone calls, HD, entertainment + and anytime all for £35 per month for a year which IMO is a pretty fine deal. The moral of the story is NEVER go with virgin & to get the best deal out of sky tell them your only going to use their box as a freesat which they have to fund.

Feels like a loss, Ipswich offered very little in attack and their final ball into the strikers was 9 out of 10 time bloody awful. Feel more annoyed at this that losing to Bristol Rovers! Guly & Lallana need shooting practice.

Not so sure after reading that, seeing as I own my own business I'm not sure I've got the time or patience to gain all those certs

It sometimes appears so doesn't it, which is rather worrying considering I have offspring and am planning a wedding Oh and shroppie you definatly ain't invited! Not that she would even consider you cos I'm fecking perfect!

I'm also very interested in this as am getting very itchy feet with what I'm doing and am keen to learn something new. Not massively ofay with the IT side of life so need to start at the beginning really, maybe Comptia network+ or MCSE. Trouble is finding the time to do it. What certs have you got/did you start out with?

Bagpipes........no fecking way, they are by far the most ititating, annoying, dronny, unnesacary sound on the face of the earth!

I'm possibly going to buy an M3 myself, they are great cars but do make sure you get the subframe checked for cracks, the block for unwanted oil (the E46 block can be porus apparently) and it must have had the all important running in service. I've found some really good 04/05's with 50ish K for circa £13-14K. That's a lot of performance for the money.

Anyone know if the game is being shown at the horns in nurseling?

The rivalry is really losing it's edge for me, I honestly couldn't care less about them. The only thing that matters is promotion & building a successful team in the PL. Although it's hard on the non knuckel dragging chimps...... cobblers to um! I'll have an A please bob.

Spent 3 hours at lepe beach with the other half and the boy yesterday, never been before and was pleasantly surprised. I'm normally fearful of mixing with chavs & the general unwashed scum but there wasn't any. Also helps that the boys slightly obsessed with playing in water.
