I'm also very interested in this as am getting very itchy feet with what I'm doing and am keen to learn something new. Not massively ofay with the IT side of life so need to start at the beginning really, maybe Comptia network+ or MCSE. Trouble is finding the time to do it. What certs have you got/did you start out with?

I'm possibly going to buy an M3 myself, they are great cars but do make sure you get the subframe checked for cracks, the block for unwanted oil (the E46 block can be porus apparently) and it must have had the all important running in service. I've found some really good 04/05's with 50ish K for circa £13-14K. That's a lot of performance for the money.

Spent 3 hours at lepe beach with the other half and the boy yesterday, never been before and was pleasantly surprised. I'm normally fearful of mixing with chavs & the general unwashed scum but there wasn't any. Also helps that the boys slightly obsessed with playing in water.

Ah well that's ok then cos their in the same place. Done a bit of research and it turns out if you (like me) have an HD sky box already all you have to do is cancel your sky subscription and tell them you want free sat and the box reverts to free sat, poss with a new viewing card at £25 meaning I can use the 500gb box.

It'll be quite unlikely that if you take him to court you'll have any joy. As a landlord myself I've had to go before the courts over unpaid rents totalling an awful lot more than £500. You'll have to prove that even if like me you're entitled to the money that you effectively should have it because whoever precides over the case will take every single aspect into account. Plus it'll cos more in time, money, stress and hassle that the original amount so IMO you should suck it up and move on. Would be quite entertaining if you carried on baiting him on here though.
