He's trying to make it sound like he's getting one over NC by training with the kids and wasting the clubs money when in all reality it's the other way round and NC's letting him know what a small oik he really is.

Possibly because he's only 18 months into his Celtic life, if he keeps scoring regularly he almost certainly will be on many radars come summer time, making it even more important to land him now.

And not to mention he could well be scoring goals for us for the next 8/9 seasons. Also NA's possible influence on Hooper must be greater than any other stricker of similar ability or quality.

Sounds like your grasping at straws some what with the smoke screen thing, Adkins wanted Hooper and quite right too. Going after a high profile striker who's proven at a high level but wanting a relatively unproven player doesn't make much sense and could make whoever we sign feel like second best. Your not the only one to believe in this tactic though...IMO that's crap.
