IMO we certainly need a quality striker with Championship/Premiership experience. Whilst Connolly has faired well towards the end of the season and covered admirably for Barnie, it's time he went. It's sad as I think he still has the potential get another season or 2 of quality football under his belt but he's too fragile and too expensive to risk another season of injury.

If the game goes ahead today I think people really need to think again about invading the pitch. I'm no kill-joy believe me, I would probably have been on there myself but 10,000 pairs of shoes on a rain sodden pitch would destroy it. If that was the case the club will be extremely ******ed off with the supporters and I would very much doubt tomorrows game would go ahead.

I was gutted when Pearson left. I, like many, was sceptical about Adkins but he's really proved himnself over the last 4 or 5 months. In answer to your question - who knows? I suspect we had the right man for the job this season though.

Vatika is great - I would thoroughly recommend it. Overdue for a Michelin Star for sure! The food is top drawer, the wine list is fantastic (as should be expected for a restaurant situated in a vineyard!) and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It's not as expensive as you might think either. 3 courses, 1 bottle of very nice wine and 2 further glasses of wine for me and my wife was about £120 including tip. Atul Kocchar's menu is cracking as well - great modern British cooking with an Indian twist.

I reckon our current squad could have finished in mid-table comfort in this years NPC but my personal feeling is the Championship hasn't been very strong this season. I think with a couple of intelligent signings we could achieve a top half finish and if (and that's a big IF) we have a strong start you never know, we could be hanging on the shirt tails of the top 6.

That Exeter shirt is absolutely awful and that publicity shot is totally amateur. They could have found one that fitted the player (is it a player or some random bloke in flip flops they found outside?). The giant cardboard shirt isn't the same as the one the player/random is wearing FFS!
