  1. Mirror have it and the link to the Dutch report on their Transfer Latest + medical in the morning.
  2. This is exactly it. I'm sure I heard several times that their bid to date is no more than £14m. I'm afraid Mister Lovren is in for a big shock when he learns the truth.. Nice reply and agree with what you've said except that it's possible the whole thing is part of how Liverpool go about preparing players they want to sign. I too shall never forgive Lallana, or, Lowren if it turns out to be true.
  3. The weak are those that believe the stories in the press, like the idiots on here, the strong are those who can forget and forgive and the intelligent are those who ignore all they read or hear in the media. It was a favorite expression quoted by Einstein. The full saying is " Weak people revenge, strong people forgive, intelligent people ignore foolishness but never regret the things you did wrong only regret the good things you did for the wrong people”
  4. I believe we can forget about Spuds interest. For Morgan, like Jack Cork, I don't think Pochettino was his flavor of the month. He's not had anything to say about him since Pochettino left as far as I have seen.
  5. WHO IS HE? You don't quote anyone, and, you, like many are just too lazy to write the name you're referring to.
  6. Anyone seen the tweet Le tiss has retweeted of an article from Lovren (pre WC) that he is happy at Saints. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/9317293/transfer-news-dejan-lovren-insists-he-is-happy-at-southampton In the end, all this is going to be a case of Lovren's words were taken out of context. Surely most people would be pi ss ed off with bosses leaving, no indication of who's in charge or what's going on. There was talk that Katharina was going to sell and when Ralph was appointed he hardly inspired football minded people including our players. Lovren's returned from the World Cup, pi ss ed off they didn't do so well. He's on vacation, doesn't know what's going on, drinking himself into oblivion every day and shouting his mouth of in the company of mates who tell him Liverpool are after him. Who wouldn't be pi ss ed off? Has anyone from the club, Reed, Koeman contacted him since he made his statements. I'm sure they have and what he said was made 2 weeks ago when Ads and Luke left. I think, like similar episodes in the past with players said to be wanting to leave, we don't have the whole story. If, in fact, he does want to go to Liverpool, I believe the club should block it at all costs and sell him overseas. Send him back to where he came as long as some club is willing to pay.
  7. I'd be over the moon if we got Marshall but no way Forster. Ben Foster's far better and more reliable.

  9. Alex Crook just tweeted http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-plot-transfer-pablo-armero-3821393
  10. Funnier things have happened at the club, but the scenario played out since Cortese leaving and how we are today, has me thinking that Cortese himself could be heading for a return. I can't believe Katharina can be happy at all she's hearing and reading in the Media. This is not how she saw things when she failed to persuade Cortese to stay. Yes, she did try, did not want him to leave,. Maybe now the dust has settled, now they both see where the situation is heading, time for a reconciliation will be on the cards. If not Cortese, then time has come for a strong leader to be appointed to lead the club forward.
  11. If Tadic does end up at Everton, then I believe we employed the wrong manager. All this bull s h i t about Koeman being able to attract the best players is no different to everything hype by the likes of Wotte and Dutchmen as a whole. Drink talks and thus bull s h i t gets spouted more often than it does at a tea party
  12. "My head is already in Liverpool" is something that has been badly translated by an online translator. What it actually means is "in my head I'm already thinking about Liverpool" That is, based on the fact that Saints have no ambition, are selling their best players. If Liverpool are trying to sell Aggen to Barcelona, I'm sure we'd do better selling Lovren to Barcelona and get and even better price or player back in return. Well done Le Tiss for telling Lovren to keep his mouth shut.
  13. Why does everyone believe word for word the sick journos trying to stir up discontent. Saints have every right to report Liverpool based on what's being posted in the press. Can't people see Lovren has left the door open by saying he'd never leave if we show ambitions. It's challenge to the owner, the board. Who knows when he spoke these words. if at all? Could have been said weeks ago and being used now to whip up resentment and trouble.
  14. WILL PEOPLE STOP SENDING INSULTING MESSAGES TO MORGAN ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER BASED MERELY ON RUMORS HE'S LEAVING. This is no way to treat the guy or convince him to stay at the club. I'm more and more ashamed of so called supporters who do things like this when the guy is still our player.
  15. Schneiderlin told players he wasn't returning to St Mary's but going away on vacation. The Daily Star report he's not closed the door using slightly different wording to the Mirror article. Morgan Schneiderlin has told Southampton to splash the cash if they want him to stay at St Mary’s. France star Schneiderlin, 24, looked on in despair as Luke Shaw, 18 joined Lambert and Lallana in quitting the club this summer. Arsenal now hope to tempt midfielder Schneiderlin into joining the exodus with a £20million bid. New boss Ronald Koeman wants him to stay but the star wants to see the Saints take major action in the transfer market before he decides. Schneiderlin said: "I’ve seen how many players left the club. It’s a club choice and I have nothing to say about their choice. "I have spoken to the manager and he wants me to stay. We’ll see. They have a lot of money now so it’s up to the board to spend it well."
  16. Nothing would settle things more for both players and supporters than the arrival of a couple of decent signings. Koeman signed up almost a month ago and Reed lead us to believe we were close to bringing in players. Yet, we still haven't brought in anyone. Sure, officially the transfer window has just opened, but I really thought the club had got things up and running where new players were concerned. Perhaps. we're in for players currently still on leave for being part of the World Cup, however. I think that would merely be wishful thinking. I think we've identified the goalkeeper we want. so what's the hold up. Anyone thinking of joining the club will only be asking themselves more and more questions the longer the exodus continues. I can almost see no one wanting to join us except mercenaries with the desire of making a quick buck and leaving at the end of the season. Why hasn't Katherina been on hand to welcome Koeman aboard? What is it with Ralph Krueger who's vanished off the dial. It doesn't improve the chances of calming concerns and indeed is somewhat worrying.
  17. The one thing that will have p i ss ed off the players, just as it did to us, the supporters, is Pochettino deliberately throwing away our chance in the FA CUP. We were 2 games within the final and winning the Cup, and furthermore, qualifying for Europe. Whether this was Pochettino's doing or a remnant from Cortese's plan for the season, remains to be seen. Never since 1976 have we been so close to winning that Cup. (Forget 2003 against Arsenal, we were far from succeeding) For me it showed the ambitions, or rather lack of ambitions of the club for the future. I strongly believe this is what really created the exodus from Saints along with a failure to augment the wages of senior players after reaching 8th position
  18. Personal terms were never mentioned by me. That is another matter. I am suggesting we are being messed about in the same way we were with Osvaldo. His club and the fees and the fact Osvaldo was Pochettino's former player as Pelle is Koemans.
  19. This deal for Pelle reminds me too much of the delays and carry ons over Osvaldo and look where that'se ended up. If Koeman can't get this tied up by now, we need to tell him where to go. The last thing we need is another prima donna.
  20. Contracts may have been agreed but surely are awaiting Koeman's final approval.
  21. I think you'll find that was more the case last season after he returned from injury. Previously he was't scared to get into tackles. Just to think, but for his injury, we could have seen Jack selected for England and have him off together with Shaw and Lallana.
  22. Clattenburg was right you big headed barsteward!!! Fling Kippers and white feathers (coward) at him if he plays and the occasional plastic bag or balloon filled with pee.
  23. Wenger has been working for French TV and reportedly is staying the same hotel as the French Team. I've been following Morgan's official Facebook and quotes in the French Media. To date I've not seen anything to give the impression he's leaving. On Facebook he wished Shaw and Adam good luck with their new clubs, quoting. "we're going to miss them both." Who is "WE". I believe it refers to team mates at Saints.
  24. Interesting is that Kenwyne Jones, the last Saints player involved in strike action was also a client of the Stellar Group. I am certain his agent would have prompted Lallana to come out with the "I'll never play for Saints ago. For myself of more interest is how the club has overlooked the tapping up of our players by other clubs via the media. Surely we would have course for taking action as no where have I seen that we gave permission to speak with anyone beside Rickie.
  25. Previously Fonte played under Koeman, I think at Benfica, and Koeman either loaned him out or sold him. Guess this might enter into why he's not received a new contract. However Jack really deserves a new contract and conditions is concerned. Would have been Player of the Year had people realised Lallana was going to jump ship. In Jack's case, besides their bromance, I believe a lot will depend on whether Morgan stays. Were Morgan to leave maybe he won't be interested in signing an extension. Maybe he's already let the club know. Him and Morgan leaving would finish off the slender belief recent developments have left me with.
