The biggest disservice this forum has done the Saints search for a new manager has been leaving MURAT YAKIN's name out of the Poll. The day the Poll was posted Spartac led the footbqll world to believe Yakin had agreed to be their new manager, thus his name no longer appearing on the betting lists. However, this was not so and the best candidate IS STILL AVAILABLE AND OPEN TO OFFERS.. The forum has done the search a huge disservice as I believe has his name appeared he'd have topped the list. The club will have people reading the fans opinions and not seeing his name may have influenced their search by writing him off as not popular. Surely his name can be added or a fresh poll be started to include other candidates left out.

For the French commentators Morgan is France's Ricky Lambert Rags to Riches hero today. They related how he left France, joined Saints and ended up on League 1 before being an instrumental part of Saints climb back to the Premier League. Today he is one of the best midfield players in the UK. At last he is recognised and gets his first cap for France I have to say France played like a team of Rahman Sterlings in top form. A pleasure to watch after last night's England performance. Can see them doing well in Brazil.

When Evra signed a one year extension I felt maybe Luke's deal had fallen thru or, perhaps, the deal is that Luke is loaned back to Saints for 1 year. In all I've read in statements by Luke I've never thought he'd not be at the club next season.

You've made my day Latvian. I became discouraged after reports yesterday that Yakin had finally signed. But indeed, not so as you've posted. I have found another article from today where he says he still hasn't decided and is open to other offers. He's off to Spain for a few days break. What impresses me is that Mourinho and Abramovich are recommending him. At the end of the article Roberto Di Matteo's name is mentioned. Funny how he's no longer linked with Saints or mentioned on this thread of late Mourinho advises Spartak Moscow "Take Yakin!" Murat Yakin is Topkandidat in Moscow. Why? Because, "The Special One" has recommended him! Published: 00.00 clock , Updated: 09.47 clock By Michel Wettstein and Sandro Inguscio Handshake: The two victories of the FCB against Chelsea Mourinho have obviously impressed. play Handshake: The two victories of the FCB against Chelsea Mourinho have obviously impressed. (Reuters) In Russia, it seems imminent: Spartak Moscow has for Murat Yakin decided. Leonid Fedun club boss wants the 39-year-old absolutely. Yakin it should be, which brings the record champions after mediocre season and missed the international courts back on track. In order to convince the ex-FCB coach from the project, he had flown him in on Tuesday. Negotiated on Wednesday a long time with him, showed him the infrastructure. And the oil billionaire is likely to have Yakin financially determined curly. 2 to 2.5 million Swiss francs net he will earn as the new coach of Spartak Moscow. LOOK know why the very rich club boss is so hot on Yakin. Because none other than Jose Mourinho has recommended the Basel! Looking for a coach candidate Fedun has asked his compatriot and fellow Roman Abramovich for help. The Chelsea owner should ask but Mourinho, who had recently impressed him the most. That did Abramovich and Mourinho said: "Receive ye Yakin" What Yakin when FCB is therefore all the success in spite of not succeeded, but succeeded with "The Special One". The Basel tactical convinced him long term. Him last season impressed with the two victories with FCB over Chelsea. Despite the charm offensive from Russia: Yakin remains as always cool. "I listen to everything, then decide my gut feeling," he says to VIEW. Contrary to other reports to Yakin has not yet decided and signed anything yet. He flew yesterday for a few days to Spain on holiday. He wants to think about his future. The decision is probably next week. Because Spartak boss Fedun has announced that the new coach will be announced on June 16. Get going at the end but not Yakin, another Swiss could get to kiss on the hand: Roberto Di Matteo . The 44-year-old Chelsea also left a powerful impression - with the Champions League victory in 2012. http://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/mourinho-raet-spartak-moskau-nehmt-yakin-id2896511.html

Hiring a new manager doesn't just involved the man himself. It will involve an assistant and coaches, all of whom will need to be interviewed. If the new man requests specific players, it may be preferable to have them on board before the manger announcement. Considering Pochettino about turned and changed his mind and left, the Board are working pretty fast. I remember how Lowe had us on tenterhooks all summer after Hoddle left and appointed Gray full time, then another long wait before appointing Wrigley. Both were enormous deceptions and disappointments as we'd looked for a high profile candidate.

Confirmation of Liverpool signing of Emre Can just in http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-confirm-emre-can-transfer-3647756 Jun 05, 2014 01:45 By David Anderson Brendan Rodgers has made his second signing of the summer as Leverkusen's German Under-21 starlet completes his move Liverpool have confirmed the signing of the versatile German youngster Emre Can has become Liverpool's second summer signing after joining in a £9.75million deal from Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool yesterday activated the midfielder's release clause at Leverkusen and have finally agreed terms with Can after weeks of talks. Can, 20, spent four years at Bayern Munich before joining Leverkusen last summer and Liverpool feel they have pulled off a transfer coup by landing him. Bayern had a buy-back option, but preferred to leave Can at Leverkusen for another season, which has allowed the Reds to pounce. Can, who is of Turkish heritage, has come through the ranks with Germany's youth set-up and is a current Under-21 international. He becomes Liverpool's second close-season capture after they landed Rickie Lambert in a £4million deal from Southampton on Monday.

First new article for several days in the Turkey press today Yakin was in Moscow for talks and he listened to what they had to offer. However he has no made any decision on the contract of 2 years + 1. It sounds that he is very much available and it will be for the Board to offer him a deal he can't. I really like the way his teams play, he's young like our previous managers, and he's been successful two years running in the Champions League. He ticks all the right boxes for being our new manager. His lack of English might be something to put off any offer. June 4, 2014 - 12:56 | Last Updated: 04/06/2014 - 12:59 " According to reports in the Russian press, Close, Spartak Moscow for talks with Russia's capital, Moscow said that. Yakin speaking to the press, "I'm in Moscow. But first to what they were going to offer I am listening. I'll give you my decision then. Have not yet taken any decision. " He said. Turkish media reports earlier in the No 2 +1 year contract with Spartak Moscow had been claimed. Russian Vedomosti newspaper, the 39-year-old coach of Spartak Moscow agree with the way that the official confirmation yet that draws attention. It's 4th June and that article is the 30th May. Murat Yakin has still to sign with Spartak and is currently in Basel doing some Media work with 20 Minutes. He's still my favorite for the job. Elsewhere it was reported David Moyes flew into Miami yesterday. Does this rule him out or is he there to talk to Lallana and Shaw?

Called to a friend in China on Sunday to see what this Year of the Horse held for the likes of Lallana. Adam in Chinese astrology is a Dragon. i called back this morning and was told this year and next aren't good for Dragon subjects especially if trying to change jobs or property issues. Him signing a new contract last year however was good and would bring him good luck and advancement with his career. He's been on a high this past year but truly got his wires crossed and not handled things well. I just hope he's going to spend the next month sweating and sleepless for all the turmoil his selfishness has caused. He should never have been given the Captain's role as he's not been a good role model and probably turned the heads of a number of players and youngsters.
-
Guan, I too, would like to offer my sincere thanks and appreciation for posting this latest information. Definitely the best post in ages and must say I slept so well after reading it. Lallana's head has grown so big that we'll need to add a further 10 million onto our valuation. When I recall him pictured struggling to carry all the fan and player awards I see him now as a scheming and gloating Judas with the 30 pieces of silver. I ask myself if he ever had any intentions of remaining at the club, whether he's even asked the club to match Liverpool's offer to him financially. Whether he did and was turned down? I fear he didn't, and was just prepared to betray the club, the fans, his colleagues, the young players who idolised him.
-
Clattenburg was indeed right as was Nicola Cortese's decision to ban the ECHO from St Mary's. Blackmore should be taken to court and forced to swear before the law the claims he has been making. If, as Captain, Lallana is really saying all that he's supposed to be saying as he has, and stirring up unrest within the club and Academy, then the club has grounds to take his case before the court. Maybe Liverpool should be aware he only plays a maximum of 70 minutes per game due to the injuries he's still struggling to regain full fitness with. I salute the club for maintaining the promise but curse Lallana for the childish behavior, selfishness and incapacity to maintain dignity and pride. May he lie awake, toss and turn throughout the World Cup and be ignored by Roy Hodgson. Adam, you will get your just desserts for being the scum bag that you've become.,

Moyes has just told TalkSport he is going to take a year or two out of football before taking up a new position, so rules out an excellent candidate.
-
This guy is just another Mark Wotte, all mouth and leaves others to do his work. I'd rather an honest entertaining guy like Jan Poortvliet than this a*se hole.

I'm worried that by the time we get around to drawing up a short list all the best candidates will have committed to other clubs. Surely by the time Pochittino quit serious candidates should have been decided on, called to see if they were interested and interviewed. It is said Murat Yakin is off to Spartak Moscow but he's not signed yet. No good waiting, we need to make him an alternative offer he can't refuse. He's been offered a 2 year deal, we can easily offer him longer. Same goes to other candidates, in that we should be checking out already if they're interested and call them in for an interview. The one person at the root of all the offers for our players has to be Roy Hodgson, who will be wanting as many as possible of his England players playing together regularly. We must appoint someone as manager as soon as possible.

From the Swiss media 25 minutes ago http://www.nzz.ch/aktuell/sport/fussball/murat-yakin-1.18312645 Football Offer from Moscow Yakin negotiations with Spartak 25 minutes ago Bookmark Print Email Murat Yakin will coach at Spartak Moscow, according to Russian media. Murat Yakin is, according to Russian media coach at Spartak Moscow (Photo by Keystone / Gillieron). (Cen.) The Russian giants Spartak Moscow is interested in a commitment by Murat Yakin as a coach. He offers the Basel on a two year contract. Signed should not be the contract but. Yakin's contract with FC Basel has been resolved two weeks ago, a few days after winning the league title. The people in charge of Spartak and Yakin have met a few days ago in Basel. Spartak has completed the season in a disappointing sixth place and is led by an interim coach. As assistant of Yakin Sergei Gorlukowitsch to act, who has played in the Bundesliga with Bayer Uerdingen and Borussia Dortmund. Whether Yakin follows the offer is open. He can not speak the language and would have to engage in a foreign social environment. As a player of Fenerbahce in Istanbul it has not please this. Spartak still in the Europa League? Where Moyes is concerned I'm sure Fergusson and Strachan would be suggesting to him to go for the Saints job. The more time that elapses the more I believe he is the best candidate to take the club forward. I don't want any more Dutch coaches experimenting with the own ideas of how the game should be played. To sort all the mess out in the board room I believe Katharina could do us a favor in bringing the likes of Rupert Lowe back to serve as advisor. He was not far short of being similar to Cortese, just he never had the funds to move forward.
-
Whereas I am gutted that Ricky is leaving I believe this move to Liverpool is a kind of loyalty bonus for all he has done for Saints. 2 years takes him to 34 years old and normally it wouldn't be easy for him to get another deal. All this Liverpool interest in our lads must come from being in the World Cup squad with Liverpool players. Maybe we'll end up with Torres or Ba as part of a Luke Shaw deal to Chelsea.
-
Thousands of Saints supporters worked off their anger, frustration over Rupert Lowe sending the club into Admin. Unable to nominate Pochittino from here in France. Any good natured poster like to do the honors so we all can let off all our anger at being betrayed by that scumbag who promised to stay at the club. Here's the new website to nominate. http://www.urban75.com/Punch/

So they've been searching for MH370 in the wrong place afterall. The so called beeps were never from the black box. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/flight-mh370-missing-jet-not-3619840 Now 3 months later all the conspiracy theories take on a whole new perspective. Who on this thread got it right, may have the real answers of what happened, where is Flight MH370?

Just read the bullsh*te that Kruegar's just issued and disgusted that they can't even identity a short list of candidates for replacing Pinnochio. Cortese would have already been on the phone and about to interview his top 5 candidates. What utter waffle Kruegar comes up with. We'll be no nearer choosing a new Manager by the time the World Cup end. An utter shambles since Kruegar was appointed. No wonder Pinnochio jumped ship.
-
Knew from when he came to the club he would one day desert us and leave with all his back up team. This scumbag not only screwed us but all the players, youngsters who truly believed in him. "Long may you struggle Mister Pinocchio, liar, con, fraudster. May Hoddle's Karma be pittance in comparison to the hell on earth Karma your betrayal bring you."
-
Dan Petrescu is a hard working and reasonably successful coach who left me with a good impression from his player days at the club. He's someone I reckon could do an excellent job as replacement for Pochettino if he leaves.

Spurs propaganda machine rates along with Hitler's Nazi propaganda feats. They have created uncertainty, confusion, and hysteria and chosen a Bank Holiday weekend in which to do it. Everyone quoting the same thing that Pochettino is in advanced talks but where are the quotes, the statements from either club or the people, agents involved. Having the same March 2nd birthday as Harry Houdini we should have known Pochettion would have a similar character. In choosing this time before the World Cup he's stabbed in the back everyone of our players about to play the most important games of their lives. Where is the loyalty to these guys, as to this club of ours and all the supporters. Ralph's arrival to Pochettino has been what Sir Clive Woodwards was to Harry. When Norwich got relegated I warned that our own fortunes have been intertwined for many years. I would hate this to be our downfall, but, from day one, when Pochettino and his back up team arrived. I could forsee the complete destruction their sudden departure would cause.l

Chelsea about to hijack Luke Shaw to Man U deal. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2639582/Luke-Shaw-targeted-Chelsea-Jose-Mourinho-eyes-replacement-Ashley-Cole.html It's becoming clear to myself that the club are allowing all these rumors and bidding of 20 million plus for our players for a major reason. By showing how much other clubs are prepared to offer, we are sending a message to Juventus that Osvaldo is a bargain at 13 million, that Juventus trying to offer half that amount just isn't anywhere near the market rates.
