Reading on TV- where can I watch it in London
mancsaint replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
I don't think there is any conflicting EPL game on so any Sky pub should do. Mancsaint -
Will be able to see how he plays in England's friendly with Sweden on November 15th at Wembley.

Number 50 bus from Streatham to Thornton Heath for me. Will use my Freedom Card. Just match ticket to buy. Just hope the supposedly Saints supporting yoof lager louts that invaded Tesco's last time to steal beers etc don't repeat that trick. No colours but singing Saints songs. Mancsaint

Totally agree with Alpine_saint and Up and Away. TBH I don't want to get to the EPL just be where we are and playing the sort of football we are. Cannot see NC EVER spending the sort of money needed to stay in the top seven of the EPL. We are playing sublime stuff and I love it. Mancsaint

Had experience of this at St Gallen at the preseason game. Works OK for regular home supporters, can be used next game, but as an away supporter NO. Minimum topup 10 franks and a huge palava to get any unspent funds back. Ended up buying stuff I didn't want. Would like to see this sort of card replace STs, installment plan would work like it used to as card can be banned at the electronic turnstile if payment in arrears.

Fantastic thanks a million. Couldn't wait to see them.

Saints Player subscription cancellation problems / SFC contact
mancsaint replied to shirleysfc's topic in The Saints
Did you cancel within five working days of the due date? This can cause problems. -
Met NA before the Biel game and he came across as very personable, as did Dean Wilkins and Nicola. Was disappointed the team did not come over to the fans at the final whistle on Saturday.

Born Plymouth, lived in Cornwall till 11 years old then moved to Winchester. Went to Nottarf Krap for a season, compliments of our local butcher's lift. Started at St Mary's College and "saw the light" in 1962. The conversion was complete, the transfusion worked.

I reckon nothing will happen or be announced until 1st July when the window officially opens. It's possible we've already signed people but NC has asked them to be quiet about it. You know how tight lipped NC is, even he, I think, knows the squad needs strengthening. KEEP THE FAITH

Comparing England to the Spaniards, crap and caviar, dull and exciting, we had a load of dross out there and got what we deserved, nothing.
-
Do you want players who've been dumped, or contracts not renewed or players valued by their current club, if the latter, then the 1st July is the time to start negotiating with their club.

Lovely I'm off to Basel this afternoon till 17th August. Went to see FC Thun game last year, will see where games are this year. Mancsaint

Oh! How I agree with you.

Many happy returns and thank you for my childhood memories of Saints. Sean aka Mancsaint

I sat in block 1 row bb for most of 2002 season, atmosphere was great with the away fans close by. Can never understand why some people spent so much time facing and taunting away fans when there was a football match taking place on the pitch.

Install uTorrent, go to http://www.demonoid.me search for REAL HIDEIP, install, crack and run, select UK. Runs like a charm and doesn't slow you down much at all like others.

Saw one in Mumbai, India.................when I looked in the mirror.

Was wearing my Saints shirt walking down Margaret Street, Brisbane (hated the place) and passed a Man Ure fan wearing THAT black/grey shirt, passed the comment to my Inter supporting companion that I couldn't see him, loud enough for him to hear, if looks could kill.

It was the fact that the club had no way of stopping the numerous people on the installment plan who stooped paying monthly. I believe a system at the turnstiles will read tickets and reject any installment non payers, thereby stopping what has happened in the past. The off season will see what happens at the turnstiles. This will would also reduce the need for ticket gatherers at the turnstiles.

Have written to the club twice previously to look into it. Many continental clubs have it. Have been told our software is the same crappy software as 71 other teams in the league. Can't have customer service can we? If everyone had the right gear we should also be able to choose our seat for away games as well.

Recent "tradition" ala Man Utd & Chelsea last year, is that at the game following the winning of a league championship, the opponents line up and the winners come out through them. Saints didn't do it so Brighton didn't shake hands at the end. I would say NA made that decision in the dressing room. Mancsaint

The 3-3 at The Dell, viewed from the chocolate box, after queuing for 3 hours followed closely by Dellhurst then WHL's 5-0.

I left school (St Marys College) early that day and queued outside the ground for 3 hours. Got into the chocolate boxes for the match. Saw every game in that cup run, WHL 2nd replay was real special, Dellhurst like with the support we had.
