Have you had any roofing work done recently? Ive noticed a massive drop in signal to both mobile and DAB since we had our place re-roofed last year, this is apparently because of the foil backed insulation they now fit as standard. Quite often I have to take the mobile outside the house to get a clear signal, never was a problem before. Its possible that you lock and unlock your car far more often at your own place than anywhere else, so that may explain the car problem.

b*llocks. Thats a bad blow, Ive thought hes been massive for us this season. Still, as others have said its not like we dont have cover.

I disagree on this one. There is an element of influence held by the libdems for the simple reason that the coalition would not exist without them. The Major government was dependent to a lesser degree on the irish mps, but that was more the result of his wafer-thin majority. I quite like the idea of a smaller party having some level of veto over the usual tory/labour steamroller politics, think its a refreshing change myself.

this. If blair and co hadnt had such a free ride with their majority maybe he wouldnt have been able to drag us into iraq.

Thats a thought, now you mention it. There could be as few as five or six real people posting on here!

Just read that, oddly enough. Its an interesting idea, but I found it pretty unconvincing tbh. I cant believe that a population would react that way to the situation, I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. Its definitely worth a read.

Yes, Ive noticed that I cant get R5 properly now. I think the beeb are trying to get us all used to the idea of getting DAB, so are powering down the fm and am signals. Thing is, in my ancient bmw the radio is designed specifically for the car so I cand just by a digital, unless theres an adaptor of some kind?

A few years ago we met one of my wife's friends for a drink on christmas eve, her husband is an ambulance driver and suggested meeting up with a couple of his friends in the London Hotel down the end of oxford street opposite the casino. He didnt mention about the place tho I suppose the flags outside should have warned me, but it was pretty obvious from all the "action" around the bar hahahaa, anyway a mate from Manchester texted me about the football, I texted him back saying I couldnt chat as I was in a gay bar, 5 minutes later he sends me a picture message of his generously-endowed girlfriend topless with the caption "one last desperate throw of the dice to stop you from turning"

Saints 1 V 0 Bristol Rovers, post match sighs of relief..

Couple of good points there. The fact is, teams like rochdale do see us as a big scalp, and will throw everything at us, which is possibly one reason for our recent spate of injuries. There is nothing we can do about that, we will just have to cope with it. And I have to say that I disagree about the feeling post-rovers, thats just exactly the kind of match I was expecting us to slip up on. Personally I'm feeling optimistic about the run-in, thought we looked good in the last batch of home games and think that will continue. -
just a thought mate, why not change your location tag from "on my arse" to "a bedsit in st marys"

During Matt le gods first full start for england, he got booed for not getting his leg broken in order to win a throw-in 10 yards from our own goal line. He was also the only england player who came close to scoring, with a sublime long range over the keeper effort that I think hit the bar with the keeper beaten. I'll take a lazy Guly that gets us 3 points over a hardworking journeyman that huffs and puffs with no end result anytime. -

Forte was a real handful when he was out left, but when he was getting switched to the right side we didnt seem to look as dangerous. And I thought dany n'guessen looked really good as well, sharp, fast and a difficult player to cope with. -

I thought Dickson put in a good solid shift today. Absolutely gutted about Lee Barnard, cant see that being a short-term knock, but we can only hope. Ref was a useless, clueless c*nt. And i stand by my previous comments regarding Guly, he is a class player, the whingers that bleat about him looking lazy seem to stfu when he suddenly turns on a sixpence and does something spectacular. -
Having read Mr Thompsons response, I am of the opinion that this vendetta against SFC goes far beyond the BBC, at least as far as Downing Street and possibly globally. Witness the acrimony generated by the Sun, part of murdoch's Newscorp, and the reach of this campaign against us becomes clear. Keep up the good work depps, we are all behind you.
