American debt warning vindicates George Osborne's Plan A
Deppo replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
I'm disappointed with the lack of YouTube evidence for this. I won't believe it is true until I've seen a YouTube link. -
Are you handsome?
-
Is that you? You are quite handsome.

Check out this dirty *****. I'd smash her back doors in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPHknKUs4Ck

Have you tried the comparison websites? Failing that, the Post Office do travel insurance, usually quite reasonable.

I am hopeful that we can beat Brighton by a decent number of goals and close the gap between us, and keep the pressure on them.

Prime Minister Cameron blocks Browns bid to head up the IMF
Deppo replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Typical of the Tories to try and block something genuinely good for mankind like the IMF from doing good work purely because of their hatred of Gordon Brown. Petty. -
Good point. I'll upgrade it.

There is a really nice sea-food restaurant in Cornwall that I went to with my ex-wife quite a lot. I would go there for my last meal, followed by a walk on the beach.

I don't really understand why Brighton being promoted is a positive thing for us. Surely it would have been better if we had been promoted, instead of them.

Who scored the last competitive goal at the Dell? Was is Beattie?

It looks just like mine! You will need my permission to use this picture.

Several people have posted that their decision is purely hypothetical. Can someone just confirm that this thread is hypothetical?

New Jersey is next to Philadelphia and Delaware, which both have the death penalty. Best to have Wisconsin potatoes.

I have the same problem when viewing this forum between 3pm and 4:45pm on a Saturday afternoon.

So, if people have to vote 3 times then this new system favours those who are at home during the day - the unemployed, disabled, elderly, benefit cheats etc. These people are traditionally Labour supporters so they will get lots of votes whilst the people who work during the day (traditional Tories) and therefore cannot find 3 days where they can go and vote will be disadvantaged. This seems very unfair. No wonder Millibean is in favour of it.
-
I don't want to take 3 days off in order to vote. For that reason alone I will be voting for AV.
-
So that's three votes then?
-
How many times are we voting then? This is all very confusing.

To cut down on costs and make this work within the timescale, we could: 1. Get a number of people to make a section of the flag each, on a specific but reasonable size. Some could draw it or paint it on; the more creative could knit theirs. 2. Rather than trying to get a massive flag, why don't we get a really, really small flag? We could try for the smallest flag in the world record (this would also get some press attention). Smallest, biggest... they are all superlatives. 3. Someone could upload a PDF mask of Markus' face and members could print it in colour and cut it out and wear it to the game. 4. I haven't thought of a 4th idea yet. 5. Do a flashmob on the 62nd minute, where the entire stadium stands up, and I mean EVERYONE, holds up their scarf/shirt/hat/programme/something red and sings the "Glory, Glory Markus Liebherr" song. This information could be disseminated by passing a note around the stadium along each of the rows.
