Ticket prices are getting f*cking ridiculous now. Was it QPR that were charging £30? That was for a week night game as well I think.

Poll: Will y0u attend next season if lowe and wilde are still here?
londonsaint1604 replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
I will attend, mainly because I don't have anything better to do at the weekend. -

Give him a chance, he's only had 4 games. -
Great post pfc123

Well it's not going to stir up any trouble is it. That was a sorry sight when our fans started fighting amongst themselves and it didn't achieve anything. I just don't see what good it does to protest during the game, it certainy can't help the players.
-
I was stood in the northam and was pretty shocked by what I saw, but I didn't have a pop at anyone.
-
Now we're getting somewhere. Surely that's something we can all agree on.

IF we had appointed a decent British manager after Portvliet
londonsaint1604 replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Tony Adams for me. -
Fair enough but were you at the doncaster game? That was not a pleasant atmosphere and I imagine we'd see similar things if people started to protest during the games. I enjoy going to the football regardless of what happens on the pitch and I guess that's the difference. I can understand people getting very frustrated, especially STH's but I just don't see what good it will do to cause disruption during games.
-
I can't see how protesting during games would have any positive impact at all. It would also ruin the match for people who just want to go and support saints and watch some football. If you want to protest then do so outside the ground and those looking to cause trouble in the stadium can **** off imo.

IF we had appointed a decent British manager after Portvliet
londonsaint1604 replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Why would it make a difference if he was british? If we appointed a decent manager that could get some results i couldn't give a toss where he came from. -
It's not over til it's over. There's a long way to go yet and, although right now it does look like we'll go down, we shouldn't give up. So no I don't think we should call in the admins this season.
-
I think the more pertinent questions are: Do you want Stanley to stay? Do you think Stanley is the best for the club? Do you like him? I like him but his presence is clearly having a divisive impact on the fanbase and I think he should leave the club.
-
I don't like Lowe... I luv him!
-
I think that would be a bit melodramatic.
-
So you're marching to the ground then going to the pub for a couple of hours? Thanks for the offer but I'll probably just have a couple of beers and go to the match.
-
I think you need to just accept that Pearson is no longer our manager and move on. He did a good job last season and it's a shame we didn't keep him but that's just how it is. I luv Rupert Lowe but even I would admit that he made a mistake by getting rid of pearson. It's no use going on about it now though, remember: 'our future is greater than our past'
-
I think Lowe is ultimately to blame because your incessant criticism of him has bored so many fans to tears, and they have become so disillusioned with Southampton FC that they stopped going to the games. lol
-
Lowe is actually doing a great job reducing our wage bill. Also some of the football I saw us playing in the first half of the season was superb, and that was clearly due to the dutch influence...

Did BWP & McGoldrick attack a Saints fan?
londonsaint1604 replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
Too far-fetched. Either it's complete ******** or has been hugely exaggerated, they'd have been arrested by now if they were kicking the **** out of a 'young lad' and while I doubt they're the cleverest of chaps there's no way they're stupid enough to do all that. -
I agree, he is a talented player but hasn't been very effective this season and we need a bit more clout in midfield. He'd be more use as an impact sub I reckon.
-
Really? Where's he going?
-
Unless we keep Davis and Saga we'll definitely go down I reckon. Losing drew and/or lallana would be a shame but not a disaster.
-
I wouldn't know as I didn't see the game but I suspect bringing on our best striker helped. **** knows why he didn't start the game, according to Wotte it was hard to decide between mcg and saga but he went with mcg because he's "quicker on the break."
