No I don't. Until the forest game I remained optimistic, but now I think there is a real chance that we'll go down. My point is simply that we are half way through the season and relegation is not a certainty as many people are suggesting.

It's tragic in the sense that people have written off this season when we are only half way through. Administration is not a 'universal truth' nor is relegation a certainty, I just hope that the players have the stomach for the fight which many of you are clearly lacking.

I know things are looking very f**king bleak at the moment, and in answer to your question, no I didn't see that game fortunately. However I did see us beat norwich and come very close to beating wednesday. Also I thought we showed good fight against wolves and very nearly scraped a point against them, and I thought we played well at Cardiff and again were very close to a decent result. It's not all bad is what I'm saying.

By what parameters do you measure it? If we survive, and I genuinely believe we will, then it would be fair to say it has worked.

I was only joking. Although in my opinion if Lowe is divisive that's the fault of the fans themselves. Get over it ffs, Lowe is in charge and will be for the foreseeable future. If you care about Southampton FC then you should forget about the **** in charge and concentrate on the football, and the lads playing, because that's what it's all about.

I see the point about the ineptitude of our strikers, but I still think it would be worth trying a 4-4-2 formation as it doesn't have to be totally rigid, it just needs to allow us to get men in the box more often so there is a real goal threat that we have lacked. If Euell was up front with someone then he could drop deeper and we could effectively switch between 4-4-2 and our current formation. Although you could say we just need whoever is playing behind the striker in a 4-3-3 (or 4-2-3-1 whichever you like) to get forward and support him more. Either way the main thing is to commit men forward more often, as there rarely seems to be anyone in a goal scoring position.

I think Euell could play in that position. Either way I'd be surprised if he changes it, as much as I wish he would.

We're not in the relegation zone so it's working so far.
