100 up for Anders...
Saint Martini replied to david in sweden's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
A misconception really, he's a defensive midfielder / playmaker (a bit like Mascherano, although not as good and he doesn't tackle a lot). His role in the Swedish team for the last 50 caps at least has been sitting in front of the back four and spreading the play from there. Its a shame he never got the chance in such a position at Saints. Although WGS has been one of the best managers at Saints in the past decade measured by his results he should have gotten more out of Svensson. He just didn't dare to play him in such a position and preferred players like Oakley and Delap. -
Wasn't there something about Argent being released on the forum a few weeks ago?
-
4 Injury minutes to do it.

Lallana? To answer your question, not really perhaps. We have Thomson but I'm not sure he's good enough. Otherwise James could fill in that role but perhaps he is of more use in the center.
-
Maybe Mills and & Holmes can't play a full match so he was forced to play Lallana leftwing again but why he can't play a proper wide player on the right I don't know.
-
Its lying. Just go to "Live matches" at the top right menu, select the radio station and click play.

So you want to know the chances of Hammond scoring two for Colchester, BWP earning a penalty and Skacel converting it in a 3-3 draw? I think you can get long odds for that.

The more I think about it the more I do not understand this decision. I can understand that the footballing authorities want to stamp down on diving. Its a major annoyance for the fans of the game. But the fact is that diving is a yellow card offense, so why give a two-match ban? I could understand a yellow card being issued, but a two match ban is just weird. Or is the argument that since he gained by his diving he should be punished more severely? This is a argument that sounds plausible but shouldn't we start handing out two-matches suspensions to defenders that stop a goal by committing a foul worthy of a yellow card which is missed by the referee? There seems to be a witchhunt against divers because it apparently the most despicable offense you can commit in football. But at Cristiano Ronaldo recently said after he left the UK. Diving is a mechanism to prevent defenders committing fouls on him. If they know that he will go down at the slightest touch they will think twice before try to foul him. Considering the fouls that some defenders get away with I can hardly blame him for it. After all, what would you rather see? Ronaldo scoring a wonder goal or John Terry holding a player at a setpiece?

Manu are the next victims for a similar offense.

Two weeks ago?

Italian FA. Besides that I don't think English clubs are being made an example of. Give me a similar example where the punishment was less severe. Sometimes players sign several contracts and get punished, in this case the responsibility lies entirely with Chelsea because they knew he had a legitimate contract.

Ofcourse you can, if he can't play they get to keep your bet.
-
I think he might want to stay in Scotland. His wife is Scottish and he apparently owns a little castle outside Glasgow.
-
For those outside the UK, this means it will probably be streamed on bet365.com.

Do you mean Finnish striker Jonathan Johansson? HCDAJFU

It doesn't say anything about a workpermit for Papa Waigo on the Saints website so I suppose he already has one.

You can't go to both sides at once. -
I know, Rivaldo made a meel of it but that is not the issue (although I wouldn't mind if they start giving out cards for this kind of acting). The Turkish player committed an offense that warranted the redcard.
