  1. More good news for the British tax-payer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8342668.stm
  2. If only The Jackal had got him....
  3. Choose any model which will accept a CISS and your long term running costs become negligible. There's the initial cost for the system at about £30-50, but then the ink costs sod all. http://www.continuous-ink-systems.co.uk/ £6 for a 250ml bottle. A typical manufacturer's cartridge probably holds 25ml and costs £10-20. Unlike the old messy way of refilling ink cartridges with a syringe, rubber gloves and stacks of newspaper, all you do with these is open a bottle reservoir that sits next to your printer and pour some more ink in. I don't use one myself because I only ever print mono text at home and run a 12 year old laser printer, but I saw the output from an HP all-in-one running a CISS and it was superb.
  4. Don't get me wrong; I'm not pointing the finger at anyone or anything. I may or may not be just as bad as the next Limewire user. I just don't want people to come away from this thread thinking that just because no one has checked or asked, you can legitimately use incorrectly licenced software. In all honesty though, Micro$oft are far more interested in hammering out and out pirates rather than mislicenses. ps Guilt free student? Oxymoron.
  5. Surely if you don't qualify then it's not legit? It's a bit like paying for car insurance but giving false details.
  6. I don't have speakers on my PC at work so can't hear the dialogue. http://www.setanta.com/uk/Videos/football/2009/05/28/Hearns-fury-at-cheating-clubs-video/
  7. Mike Oldfield's latest album?
  8. It's easier to read and make sense of a post when correct grammer and speeling are used. Don't deny you didn't hover over those two deliberate mistakes slightly longer than the rest of the sentence.
  9. I saw Embrace at Westonbirt Arboretum and they were bad, or rather, Danny's voice was terrible. I don't know if he was recovering from an illness or something but he couldn't hold a note at all. Have a . It was as painful. Thankfully, the main reason for buying the tickets was to let the missus see the support act, as she'd missed them (twice) at the Joiners due to exams.
  10. If you do plan to buy on the day, I'd get there early. I walk past the ticket office on the way to my stand and the queues, even up to a few minutes before kick off, are horrendous.
  11. Quite an interesting article on the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8317005.stm
  12. Proper home-made Indian made from scratch. None of this tikka marsala b*ll*cks.
  13. My brother did circa 1991. I used it once when he was taking me back to digs. "Hi. It's me. I'm coming back with my brother. Any chance you can do a bit more food for him? We're on the motorway. Yeah, I know. It's amazing, isn't it?" That cost him about a quid.
  14. This should have nothing to do with personal goal tallies. The nominated taker at the start should remain that throughout the match. The only instance when that should change is when a player's confidence is shot after already missing one. I remember when West Ham were leading 2-0 and John Hartson ceded penalty taking duties to Paul Kitson in an attempt to complete his hat-trick. They drew 2-2.
  15. That's what happens when we're spoilt with such top notch catering.
  16. Install Windows Home Server?
  17. We flew with them to Murcia this year and felt quite cheated by all the hidden costs which stacked up as you work through the booking procedure. I'm not sure what they're going on about in point #3 with being able to avoid the Web check-in charge because we couldn't see how. Then there's the £5 fee for using a credit card. Or debit card. Or anything other than a Visa Electron aka "The Elizabeth Duke store card". And that fee is per person, per direction. You want to check some baggage in? Of course you can, but there's a £15 fee for that. http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/faqs.php?sect=CHARGES They even implemented a fee for disabled travellers until they lost a discrimination case. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/3443739.stm I'll gladly admit they're one of the cheapest out there and as a result would probably fly with them again. It's just a shame that their low fares are linked with complete and utter contempt for their customers and they're not a bit more transparent about all their charges.
  18. No problem. Let me know if you'd like to borrow my AD&D Monster Manual.
  19. Above the Jackpot Cafe on Portswood Road. Ric already has the details.

  21. What J9 doesn't know about Belgium, isn't worth knowing....
  22. Alternative wrong holeage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93_2tyjoVsE&NR=1
  23. I'm still waiting for Beattie's inevitable move to Villa.
  24. Have you been reading the BBC site recently then? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/8253915.stm
