  1. You would go down for 12 months if you did.
  2. The 2-0 opening day defeat at Villa was a truly appalling display and one that set the tone for the whole season. The only highlight was Niemi punching Prutton in the face after we had given away a soft corner. Unfortunately, he still had his gloves on and it didnt hurt the tw at.
  3. Only if they fart.
  4. He left a fortnight after, but was "introduced" by Satchell Face and not by Lunchtime O'Booze.
  5. They look like the shirts worn late 60's /early 70's. Probably Paine and TommyTommyJenkinsonthewing. Onthewing.
  6. I, of course, was referring to the 1st away match for the benefit of all those boycotting SMS this season.
  7. I think the booze has addled his memory. He's just told the press conference that he "introduced players at the age of 17 to the 1st team" and included Theo in his list. Surely shome mishstake there, George? Hic.
  8. Morning, Rodent. No bye for us this year. The rules state that all sides that did last year automatically start in the 1st round. Unless, of course, you're not in the competition.
  9. I hope it will be clearly readable on this horrid new format.
  10. I knew Clive through his older brother and my first trip on the coach was Wrexham away League cup 79. after this I went to most of the Northern/midland trips for the next few seasons as well as the "Vaffanculo" train trip to Euro 80. Which included being gassed in Turin. Did the transit van + mattress trip a few times, so as to have a night out in Oxford on the way home. In the company of the the fans spokesperson.
  11. I was trying to find out why "Dog" was banned, but can't seem to get any old posts up.
  12. Prutton's not out there, is he?
  13. You haven't really got to grips with the terms "Seeded" and "un-seeded" have you?
  14. i would have preferred my 1st sighting of the new shirt not to have been the one modelled by Granty at The Rose Bowl this afternoon.
  15. Dont like it at all. Even allowing for my drunken inability to remember my password and log on.
  16. That was probably The Manzil, which is still there. The Cottage is in the opposite direction, on the way to St Marys.
  17. I told you, I wasn't in The Beat. I have their first 2 albums and you are more of a "Ranking Roger". I also know where you live!
  18. No. How's about Bledelis (Tranmere horror night).
  19. Once you joined, you were a life member. (Not even a £5 annual charge ). In the early 80's the restaurant was very good. Then the owner of the Chinky, which I think was called "The Friendly" across the road is alleged to have won 1/2 of the place at the table and it changed its menu! Not absolutely sure, but I think it closed about 93/94 when the then owners took it down to Leisure World and then sold out to Grosvenor.
  20. Nineteen Canteen's posts.
  21. Who played in goal in the only game Shilts missed in the 83-84 season?
  22. They were our record signing, when they signed.
