Then the owner of the Chinky, which I think was called "The Friendly" across the road is alleged to have won 1/2 of the place at the table and it changed its menu! Not absolutely sure, but I think it closed about 93/94 when the then owners took it down to Leisure World and then sold out to Grosvenor.
