  1. Yes please. I would put it up my bottom.
  2. What a surprise......WSS celebrates in someone else being diagnosed with cancer, that's never happened before.
  3. This is a matter very close to my heart and I have given it a great deal of thought. I think that all teams should be ranked, from 1st to 92nd (I think that's how many teams there are in the league) based on their past 30 years. Each team will be given points for wins, promotions, cup wins and progress and so on. So the top club may end up, for example, on 36,728 points and the next one down on 36,654. Each season, starting frm now, points are added (or taken away as appropriate - for example if a team loses all their games or gets relegated and so on). So each year we end up with a slightly changed ranking. Now, the twist comes in. Those teams who are scoring above the average (so you have to adda ll the scores together and divide by 92) get money taken off them and placed into a big pot. The clubs scoring below the average then play their league games as usual with the same goals in mind BUT the team that scores the most using the other points system (wins, cup progress and so on.....we could include goals scored and cards etc) then gets a share in the money taken from the other teams. This will eventaully even up the league. There should also be a rule that players are fined directly by the FA for each misdeamour. For example, if they are booked for taking off their shirt they should be fined straight after the game (taken to a cash point by police if needed) say £100. If they take their shirt off again then their fine should be increased and they should be made to play in their pants or something, so they get the message that playing in less than the appropriate clothing is not acceptable. Teams who have more than the average number of players booked in a season should be made to play the first game of the next season with all youth players. This would encourage teams to invest in youth, especially the dirty teams. Teams that win by ten goals or more in a game should be awarded double points. They can either accept the double points (6) or take normal points (3) and be allowed to take the next 4 penalties with the other team not being allowed to have a goalkeeper. I am firmly with Ginger fella in that we should be looking for innovative solutions to the game.
  4. This is an excellent question and one that I would like someone ITK to answer. Could there be an announcement on Sunday or is it only Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday when announcements are made? I think every day should be available for announcements. I know some people say Sunday is the day of rest, but surely this is more important than all of that guff? Maybe the mods can make this a poll? Really it is three polls: (1) Could there be an announcement on Sunday (yes/no) (2) Do you think there will be an announcement on Sunday? (3) Would another day of the week be more suitable for an announcement?
  5. A true fan would read all the threads.
  6. Then you are a braindead moron who deserves to suffocate on your own mind blowing stupidity.
  7. Guillemots "Through the Windowpane" Super Furry Animals "Dark Days/Light years" Neil Young "After the Goldrush" Went to see Spiritualized on Friday and was pleased with them. Slightly low key performance but moments of real majesty. Was slightly disturbed to learn that I had seen them before around 1997 when they played Brixton Academy with Primal Scream and some other band on Valentines Day. I remember Primal Scream being there but no one else. They were bad times.
  8. How are your dissertations going? No bad thanks! What you doing them on? I am doing mine on the impact of The Reign of Terror on French-British relations in the late 18th century How far you got to go? 4 pages Where You studying? Cambridge University
  9. 1. I have reported your post because I don't believe that it is acceptable for one member of a forum to taunt another and disrespect the memory of his father (as Baj has done in his first point) 2. Fishfingers is one word. In the past it has been spelt as one word and the only reason it has changed is so the words can be spread over the packaging. This does not constitute a change in the word, but a change in the way it it presented. 3. I value different cultures and peoples. I value the way they pronounce words. I believe that if other countries call fishfingers "fishfingers" then that is relevant to me and my world values. Whether those people are Australian, Kiwis ir Belgians. I don't think you should bring your prejudices onto this board. 4. There are many dictionaires that do use the singular word "fishfinger" and in the past OED has done so.
  10. No. I think you have got this completely wrong. If you know something either say what it is properly or don't say anything at all. Do you think you are helping by posting what you have posted? I can assure you that you are NOT helping. We all know someting is happening. We will all find out what exactly is happening in a short amount of time. You haven't offered anything different from the rest of the bullsh*t on here.....and that is the problem. I don't know you. I couldn't tell whether you know something or not, but your approach is ******** and in this climate it is also (excuse my french) the behaviour of a complete tw*t. However, I also know something. I know what is happening. It's going to be great. Really great. Ohhhh just wait and see what's going to happen. No really, wait and see. I can't tell you what I know, but I really do know a lot of stuff. Honest, when it happens you'll all say "Wiltshire Saint said something was happening, why didn't we believe him?". I'm not after respect. I'm not trying to pretend I know everything. I'm not the chairman or even the manager. F*ck, I don't even play for Southampton (not anymore) but I know that something is going to happen and when it does it'll be great. Fingers crossed and so on and so on and so on.....
  11. Let me set you straight. Firstly, before I start by simply stating that I am right and you/choco are wrong (as you have done) I think you should take note of my credentials: 1. My father worked as a fishmonger. Although very anti fishfinger, he did acknowledge that the two words should be put together. And now, the evidence that you are wrong (and don't be ashamed, it can happen, even to someone as great as you) 2. Originally, when marketed, Birds Eye spelt fishfinger as one word on their packaging. It is only a recent move to make them two words and that is only done dut to product design. I am sticking to the original wording. 3. Fishfingers are still called fishfingers (one word) in many parts of the world (for example in Oceania) 4. The Oxford English Dictionary has an entry for "fishfinger". Wiltshire Saint.
  12. That's not a recipe You have simply posted the name of a meal. For example, if I were to post the words "Cottage Pie", I have not told anyone the recipe, just the name. By saying "Fishfinger sandwich" you have not explained how it is made (ie the recipe). Some people on here may think that you have to defecate on a piece of cod and put it in a doughnut. Please sort yourself out. And while I am at it, fishfinger is ONE word, not two as you would have it.
  13. Trying to get the early bird prices down even more eh? I think in our financial position people should be paying more, nit trying to force the price down even lower
  14. These people make me sick. Absolute b*stards, the lot of them. Who do they think they are, entering into an employment contract and expecting to be paid? I certainly go to work each week just grateful to be alive and when they offer me money I always politely refuse.
  15. If only we hadn't sold James Beattie, Wayne Bridge, Kenwyne Jones, Peter Crouch, David Prutton, Andrew Davies, Alan Shearer, Dean Richards, Rod and Ray Wallace and so on.
  16. F*ck me, not another thread where SRS displays his pikeyness for everyone to see? Can't there just be a pikey forum that SRS can post in?
  17. How would one pronounce that? You do realise that just because it is free that doesn't mean you are compelled to go? I understand that your pikey roots manifests itself in an inability to resist anything that is free of charge, running car boot sales and generally being a fat spade face, but you don't have to revel in your own sh*tness quite so much. I hope it rains and you get struck by lightning.
  18. I once asked a gasman what CORGI stands for and he said Council of Registered Gas Installers whereas the real answer is Council for Registered Gas Installers. I couldn't f*cking believe it. He was a f*cking gasman.
  19. Yeah good1Wilde. You iz well bang out of order.
  20. Stopped reading this recipe when I saw the words "frozen" and "prawns" in it
  21. Is that the actual train picture? If it's that one then I say keep the train picture as I like it. It also symbolises the way the club is moving forward (like a train). The photo is black and white and a little dull and full of players who no longer play for the club (hence it is looking backwards).
  22. I don't understand the mentality of some of the posters on here. Some of these comments are ridiculous. Why is this behaving like a child? Is he not entitled to make a point? What a stupid thing to say. He is someone who is empoyed by a company to play football. His employer may well go bust, if he is still empliyed he would be playing in the third tier of English football which would almost guarantee him never being selected for Poland again and that would come befire all of his "mates" (the correct term is work colleagues). Oh my god!! You mean he has migrated here to take up a job for money??!! Who the f*ck who do that? What a complete w*nker he must be. This is by far THE most stupid comment on this thread and maybe the most stupidest on the whole of the internet. If you are of employable agae (which is on doubt) or able to hold down a job (which is in doubt) can you explain why people go to work? I shall use myself as an example. I go to work to get paid and no other reason. I imagine most people are the same. The bloke is leaving. It;s hardly surprising and certainly not something he should be blamed or vilified for. Good luck to him and I hope we get some decent money for the fella.
