I thought there was no width on Saturday
-
Yes but not a household name like Lineker Hansen Shearer Keegan Ball Gazza etc I would have thought
-
The mansion was sold for £4 million last year . MLT obviously never did get paid well compared to today's players
-
That was Spencer Davis in the 1960s keep on running.
-
Yes I agree but Lineker put in cash I seem to remember I am not sure what MLT can do I dont think he is a household name like Lineker and Shearer outside Hampshire.
-
Lineker is seriously wealthy he used to live in a huge mansion in Sunningdale

The League are against Clubs spending money they dont have to get an unfair advantage like Crouch probably did with Davies and then going into administration. that is why the points penalty was introduced. But of course there are other examples like paying large wages for John and Euell when it was impossible to pay them from income received. However if Crouch paid out of his own pocket that is a different matter Morally I think we should lose 10 points but legally that may not be the case. If SLH had other revenue streams I think we maybe OK but it is SFC which has caused the SLH to go into administration.

breaking sky sports news - independent enquiry into accounts
John B replied to shurlock's topic in The Saints
The league are not looking into our accounts. They are looking into the relationship between SFC and SLH. No one except you has hinted that there is anything illegal in the way the club has been run. -
I think there is European Action tonight
-
Yes it was spent between 2006 and 2008 when Lowe was not around the Wilde disappeared looking for investment but Crouch was there but had little influence as the Execs in charge probably thought him a loose cannon as he was voted off the board. But of course it is Lowe's fault
-
You maywell be right but I am really interested what Lowe Wilde and Jones have to say about that. However without selling any Players bar Safri and Davies administration must have been obvious from September unless Barclays said that there was no problem.
-
Depends really what was the state of the overdraft with Barclay's
-
There is plently of evidence that Lowe was not solely to blame but you appear not to understand that. Surely if Crouch was there and Lowe was not and money was spent unwisely he must share some of the blame it is just common sense You just appear a touch agressive and abusive if people do not agree with you But that is in the past as I just said lets go forward and hope we survive
-
Yes it was a pretty big one bringing Wilde but lets try and forget about and get on with the future But that is not going to be easy. A win tonight is what we need but I feel unlikely. I have had a feeling since we missed those penalties against them in October that we were not destined for a good season.

Is that the Leon who predicted that we were heading for the Playoffs when in fact we were heading for the relegation zone But as he is a fan that OK
-
Well I dont there are plenty others who are equally guilty as Lowe What about this Jones guy the Financial Director his financial skills appear to be zero
-
Yes I agree he sums up my feelings too
-
Your comment may well be wrong. As most in the City realise the damage to the finances were made when he was not at the club which is something I find difficult to understand that you do not realise. I dont care who watches Saints Play it is not for you and me to say who is or who is not allowed into St Mary's. How long has Askham been watching the Saints sometime I would have thought

The point I am making there were probably more season ticket holders in season 2007-2008 because of our relative success in 2006-2007.

Yes OK I think they are probably talented but not really talented like we thought they were
