  1. Well not if they spend time practising defending corners and the players do something different during games. Concedeing a goal after a minute must be devastating but Wotte did tell them Wolves would be at them from the start apparently
  2. Yes I agree but where are we going to get better players from then? Apparently Fulham want Lallana why?
  3. Yes I agree over the last five years under various coaching regimes we have failed to respond and strung a number of good results together Apart from the playoff season where we nearly threw that away. Once the team get on the field some of them seem to be like headless chickens including Davis yesterday who seems to have lost confidence.
  4. I dont really understand why we are so bad We had three internationals in the squad Saga Euell Skacel Reasonably Good old Pros in Davis Perry Saejis and Wotton U21 U19 Internationals Lallans Schenderlin Surman James Youngsters with so called Potential McGoldrick and Smith and £750000 Striker BWP Surely that is a reasonable Championship Squad and Wotte is no mug
  5. Mind you if we cannot beat the bottom club at home it was unlikely that we could beat the top club away
  6. I think Wotte and Pearson are both OK and Wotte pretty realistic if the team cannot carry out his demands what can he do Southampton coach Mark Wotte on his team's start: "It throws away all the preparations. We knew that Wolves would be on fire after their performance against Birmingham so we told them to be very aggressive at the beginning of the match. "We expected Wolves like they came, but if you don't win your headers and don't attack the ball then it's already a very difficult game. "After 20 minutes they get the penalty and it's 3-0, and it's more or less game over. "I'm just blaming my team for not dealing with set-pieces better than they did."
  7. I dont think Wotte is Very Happy either from the BBC Southampton coach Mark Wotte on his team's start: "It throws away all the preparations.
  8. Ridiculous Post Of course it is not his fault entirely I dont think he was playing yesterday
  9. You obviously mean realistic
  10. I thought the team would play quite well today what a let down
  11. You are right the whole thing about complaining about John Corbett is ridiculous and the only crime if that what it is about Mary is that her dislike for Lowe led her to believe that Wilde was the savior. A serious misjudgement I would have thought but probably done in the best interests of the club
  12. I thought LM was on the board that spent money unwisely but obviously he did not see that would lead to ruin. Other people other than Lowe are to Blame for our demise.
  13. Although very worthy this plan seems completely impractical to me but I could be persuaded if more information was availabe. As usual 19 make sensible comments
  14. Do you really think that the Shareholders would willingly go into Administration?
  15. They would get some support no matter. But my point is that offer accepted by the administrator may not be the best offer for SFC fans Who knows what the ticket pricing strategy for each consortium will be
  16. It is possible to lose a battle but win the war . Unfortunately you cannot ask Winston Churchill these days
  17. Yes that is the way I think too. Option B may even sell our best players to recoup their outlay and Option A would not
  18. You seem to forget nothing happened between 2006 and 2008 when Lowe was not involved. When Lowe was here after that the falling Stock Market and Credit Crunch and the SFC financial situation made it really unlikely that anybody would buy the shares.
  19. Well the coaching staff see something in him.
  20. Wotte works with him everyday and obviously sees that with the right environment can flourish. Kevin Davies was released by us and is now one of the Premiership's top scorers. Just because a player is released by one club does not mean with the correct direction he will not flourish.
  21. Your are correct I fear. One party could come in with an offer of say £5 million with a view to selling off loads of players with a view to recouping their outlay. While another could offer £4 million with a view to not selling players. Am I right?
  22. Yes I agree but none of the Shareholders wanted to sell but how committed were SISU as they appeared not to respond to shareholders concerns. In fact I am not certain they were going to buy the shares anyway I think they were going to reduce value of the shares. Administration did the latter pretty well
  23. Yes but we were told by Hone in 2007 we were in financial trouble but Leon appeared not to notice but I think we was expecting investment to be coming in..
  24. If we dont lose any points yes but until recently it was assummed that Administration would lead to a reduction of points and selling off of the players. Lets wait and see before coming to that conclusion
