There are a couple of points I would like to raise in this debate.
Firstly I think spending money on the Academy was a good idea as one of the reasons we had to buy lots of second rate players was that Apart from Bridge none of our home produced players were coming through like they were in the past are were perceived as likely to be more loyal.
The second point is how do we know Saha and Malbranque wanted to come to SFC anyway and how were their wages to be paid
You would have thought so but as I said I doubt there is any planning for next season because that would probably inter with parties currently bidding
They know we have no income from ticket sales so they will be making an estimate on how many they will sell
Anyway if we get any money in it will be used to pay off ciurrent debts or Euells wages
I dont think it is a fact just your analysis not based on facts.
It was obvious we had to sell players but probably no one wanted to buy them at reasonable prices
Getting in good loan strikers at low wages I would have thought was very difficult
Yes I agree with you but the PFA often pay players wages in these situations
Still not good but I would have thought anybody making a realistic bid would
be giving the Administrator Options on
1 Which League SFC would be playing in next season
2 How many points if any the club would de deducted next season.
Not owning the ground will not stop somebody buying us .
But not having Premiership Status may.
In fact over the last few years on SISU appears to want to buy us
I had two problems with Burley
1 He brought in average players at overated wages
2 He was always looking to get in midfield and forward players when I thought the defence needed attention.
But the team played reasonably well until late 2007
I know I what you are saying but it could be said that if Lowe never went we would not have had to pay out £1,000,000 and had lots of youngsters playing.
I was only be simplistic not realistic
If Lowe had not gone the first time we would not be in Administration as we would have saved a £1000000
Is that right?
So getting rid of Lowe got us into Administration it appears
