A very fair responce IMO. Its quite right that they should have been investing in their infrastructure and facilities rather than blowing it all on over priced players and cheating their way too trophies. Im sure if they had a better structure (i.e training facilities/ground) they may be a more attractive investment and wouldn't have had too put up with all these owners this season who have made their problems worse.

Would make sense that we were holding back on signings if we were to make a marquee signing. Would be brilliant if we did sign him as at 20 he could still fulfill the potential he was tipped too have.

Wouldn't complain if it was similar to the Athletic Bilbao kit as it looks pretty good! Also hope they promote it they way they are doing the Rangers kit!

I remember watching him in the preseason friendly against Parma (I think??) and thinking we'd got ourselves a real quality player. Shame it didn't work out.

Last season Morgan was being slated for not being able to tackle and that he was a lightweight player. However, under the new regime he has learnt to get stuck in and tackle more so whats too say the same couldn't be done for Surman?

We need another quality midfielder and this shown throughout last season. He'd push Morgan and Hammond for a place in the centre as the minute there is no competition for a place there. He'd give us an option on the left or right of midfield if Puncheon or Lallana are not fit (presuming Antonio does not sign)

Anyone who thinks he isn't good enough for us needs their head looking at. He was doing very well for us in the Championship (+ he spent time at Bournemouth playing in L1 and excelled then). Im sure if the offer was right he would return. While we're at it i'd have Iwelumo as well as he'd be perfect back up for Lamber IMO.

Just had a look at the BBC sport page and looked at some of the League 1 players being replaced. Lubor Michalik and Joe Anisayah (spelling) would make good squad players IMO EDIT: Also Simon Francis is looking to leave Southend ( I think a few people who went to the game on Saturday rated him?)
